Out of the Past

Episode 202 (#12) - September 11 1996

Jim and Blair are tracking an escaped murdered, Ray Weston who was in prison for robbery, and murder of a jewelry shop owner. Weston is believed to be stalking singer Angie Ferris. Weston had several slashed pictures of the singer in his cell and had a reputation for violence if Angie was mentioned.

Ellison and Sandburg visit Ms. Ferris at her apartment and explain their theory about Weston. Ms. Ferris denies knowing who Weston is and is reluctant to have police protection. When Weston kills the security guard for her complex, Ms. Ferris changes her mind but only if Jim is the one to protect her.

Following a lead that Weston is nearby, Jim leaves to check out a low rent hotel. The room is deserted and Ellison races back to Angie’s apartment to discover Blair listening to music and Angie and her daughter gone. Using his sense of touch, Jim finds an address, he and Blair leave to investigate.

They find Angie and her daughter, Pam, staying at the home of Angie’s manager; unfortunately, Weston finds them also after calling Pam. Weston and Ellison get in a hand-to-hand find that ends with Weston being electrocuted. Jim also discovers Angie knew Weston from a past relationship.
