Throughout history there have been thousands of deities from a variety of religions, worshiped in their own way. I am trying to inform the people of the many different cultures, and the ancient beliefs that once centered in them. I have begun researching different websites, books and people with the knowledge of the gods and mortal beings that highlighted the beliefs of several ancient peoples. Here, the Greek, Roman, Norse, Celtic, Chinese, and several other ancient religious deities and mortal beings of importance will be listed, along with a description of who they were, and their importance.

If you discover someone that I have missed, please email me to just let me know, and I will add them to the list, just for the general knowledge of everyone else.
