Little did we know that the Fate litter would effect our lives the way it has turned out! There was a most definite Twist of Fate in store for us since we had not planned on keeping a puppy-HA! Twist was fated to be husband Gary's new buddy, we were just slow to realize his plan. It is indeed fate as Gary's first Doberman was Twist's grandmother,Cajun who we lost in March of 2001 at 11 1/2 years old. She is still greatly missed but lives on in our home in her 2 daughters, Shimmer (from the first breeding to Talon) and Twist's dam, Deja vu   (from the repeat breeding)and now in her grandson as well!
It seems that Twist and Gary were meant for each other. They have an incredible bond and a wonderful start on a working relationship. There are lots of laughs, smiles and wildly wiggling rumps (Twist's, not Gary's!) when these 2 get going on their obedience sessions. This young dog adores his owner and Loves to work; they are going to be a fun team to watch. Twist's zest and high spirits will no doubt help to keep Gary's morale and "drive" up!
