Joy

My heart is over flowing with love.

I can smile again.
I have found the joy deep in my heart.

Alive With The Spirit

I see her in me:
    my energy
    my life
    my support
    my sustenance
    my all
I too am beautiful.
Alive With the Spirit.

Then:
    behind a glass wall
    looking
    never touching
    life with muted feelings
    -- not fully lived

Now:
    alive
    feeling
    touching
    drowning in love
    reborn.

To have what I've most wanted.

I had it along.
It was right here,
Surrounding me.

God's goodness,
his Being enveloping me.

Not something out there to reach for,
To wait for to hold me.
Something here with me,
In me,
Around me.

Invisible
Until I learned to see it.

To Jesus

I don't know what it means,

    But I know I love you.

Rebirth

Who I was, I am not --
But yet I am.
The same, but different.
Not who I thought I was,
I have become more myself.

I am a poet.
I am a lover.
I am a creature of God.
And I am loved.

God has come alive in my heart
And I am reborn.
