2/3/99 - Pneumershonic - a virtually unknown band from New Hampshire with lead singer, homeless Paul Bourre, who is of the Timothy Leary persuasion, age and all... the label is called Tray Full Of Lab Mice... so far, have the lyrics to 3 of the 16 songs on the cd... check back soon for the rest... some pics also up... recently heard back from Tray Full Of Lab Mice's headman, Matt Jasper, and got a copy of a review a magazine did of the cd, which is now up... he also sent a couple of other cds by bands on the label, Unbunny and Suckdog... hope to have pages for them soon... also, news that there are plans for a new Pneumershonic album!... will keep writing to Matt for updates and details to post here... btw, the Chris Hall on bass is not the Chris Hall of Stabbing Westward fame... just a cool coincidence... = )

9/10/98 - Skunk - "frail and bedazzled owes a great debt to the band skunk, with whom i ripped part of this song off. skunk was probably the greatest band that i ever knew/saw that is virtually unknown - even less than the frogs. frogs. skunk. i miss skunk." - Billy Corgan - *... Skunk is a now defunct very local Chicago band... also, Matt Sweeney's (now lead singer of Chavez) 1st band... I sent the lyrics I transcribed to him, but there was a problem... will keep working on... both 'Last American Virgin' and 'Laid' done one time through... there are also some pics I scanned here...
* - part of the song 'Wrathchild' was used in SP's 'Frail and Bedazzled' and the ending of 'Knobb Off' inspired SP's ending to 'Rocket'...

12/19/97 - That Group Called Kurt - a group a couple of us started a few yeaars ago... inspired by The Frogs... discography and lyrics (27 songs so far...), rejected song titles, and members... if anybody has any info I'm missing, mail me... I still need the original, or at least a copy of, our final session...

4/29/98 - Mazzy Star - will definitely go through again soon... done one time through...

11/3/98 - Urge Overkill - my own set of UO lyrics... done for 'Americruiser/Jesus Urge Superstar', the 'Ticket to L.A.' single, 'The Supersonic Storybook', the 'Stull' EP, 'Saturation', and 'Exit the Dragon'... done one time through... mail me if you have any corrections or anything... if anybody has a copy of the 'Strange, I...' EP, e-mail me... with some help from the U.R.G.E. page, which has the official lyrics from 'Jesus Urge Superstar' (the only official lyrics released), I have revised mine... should be quite accurate now, except for a couple of spots no lyrics were given and I couldn't figure them out...

9/8/98 - Chavez - I received lyrics from the band a while ago, and since the Chavez web page is down, I thought I'd post the lyrics here... the lyrics I got were a little inaccurate, so I listened through the cds and made corrections where applicable... plus, for the songs they don't have the lyrics for, I did them myself... done one time through... I've sent these lyrics to Chavez, but they got lost somewhere along the line... will be getting back to them and will post as soon as I have info...

Spring 1997 - best of the best - in no particular order, my favorites songs at the time spanning 1996 and 1997... back then, I went through all my cds and came up with these 2 tapes worth of songs... exactly 2 tapes, actually... I assigned random numbers to all the songs and they ended up fitting perfectly onto both sides of both tapes with no room for even a few more seconds of recording... seems like it was meant to be... my favorites are different now, but these were the songs that helped me through an extremely tough part of my life...

Fall 1997 - the best love songs - again, in no particular order and fitting onto one blank tape, my favorite love songs as of Fall 1997...
