ROCKY I
The Story Rocky Balboa, an unknown fighter is given a million to one shot at the heavyweight championship in a bi-centennial match with Apollo Creed. The film starts by showing Rocky having a boxing match with Spider Rico (a local bum) in the chapel. At this moment Rocky is a nobody fighting nobodys with not a lot of money and who lives in a run down flat. Rocky's love interest in the film is his best friend's (Paulie) sister (Adrian) who works in a pet shop across the street from Rockys gym. |
