ROCKY VI in the making ???
Apparently Sylvester Stallone has already written a script for Rocky VI which will see a welcome return to the ring for Rocky. The story will carry on with Rocky (who will now be in his 50's) who runs a youth center. Rocky will step back into the ring one last time for a big fund raiser. The only sticking point with releasing Rocky VI is MGM who only wants to spend $10 million on the film which is a very low budget for a studio film Stallone wants $20 million, although it is thought that Stallone has already agreed to MGM's requests and is just waiting for the greenlight to start production. Who will cast is not known at the moment although Sylvester Stallone will be a definite and probably a return for Talia Shire (Adrian). I would like to see most of the original cast back although I doubt it would be possible. If this Rocky film goes ahead it will most certainly be the last one which is a shame. Lets hope this film is one of the best! |
