Perus-Pirapora Railroad
Unofficial Page

The “Perus-Pirapora” is a railroad that, despite the fact to be internationally recognized as one of the best collections of 60cm gauge rolling stock in the world, and also due to be situated close to the biggest city in South America (São Paulo), is not so known by railroad entusiasts in Brasil.

This page is dedicated to this small railroad whose operations ended in 1983, and since then is completely abandonated, with its material left to the elements, being lost forever...

As said by Nilson Rodrigues, one of several historians dedicated to de Perus-Pirapora, “...let’s know it’s history, before it will be too late...”. So, those who had no chance to know it in running conditions, will have difficulties to do it again, because the entire fleet is becoming deteriorated...

So, let’s know the Perus! Just click on the icons, and good travel! You can see one short video about EFPP just clicking here !!! Enjoy this trip!!
