This is the second Alco locomotive from a series of 5, acquired by C.B.C.P. This was the last job of rebuilding made by Gato Preto shops in 1982, including the modification in the combustion system, being changed to burn wood. After the rebuilding, the loco saw very little service, and could run again with minor repairs.According to sources, it had suffered a head-on collision during the strike times, caused by sabotage...
