Guild Council

This is a forum for bringing restitution to grievances amongst guild members. This forum is not to be used frivolously or haphazardly as the consequences may prove grave.  The Council is made up of 12 guild members whose identity is to remain secret.  If you feel that you have been wronged by another guild member in some form or fashion and you feel that bringing charges against them will help to rectify the situation, please fill out the form below.

The rules are as follows:  Any guild member may bring charges against another guild member ONLY if they feel that they have been wronged in some way.  The guild member bringing the charges (hereto after referred to as "Plaintiff") must include the day he or she was wronged, the type of transaction that occurred, and the username of the person they are bringing charges against (hereto after referred to as "Defendant".  The Council will then neomessage the Defendant and inform them of the charges being brought against them.  The Defendant has one week from the date of that neomessage to respond to the Council.  Then:

  • If the Defendant responds, the Council will inform the Plaintiff and the Defendant that they have one week to email their entire case to the Council. Include any witness usernames and neomessages that transpired during this transaction.

  • After the Council receives both sides of the story, they will make a decision regarding their course of action, which may include guild probation or even expulsion.  If the transgression is serious enough, the Council will inform abuse@neopets and the Defendant may even have his or her account removed permanently.  After the Council emails their decision to both the Plaintiff and the Defendant, each party has one additional week to file an appeal.  One week after that, the Council will make it's FINAL decision....no appeals are permitted after this point.

  • If the Defendant does not respond, the Council will post his or her username on a list of people to avoid.  If the transgression is serious enough, the Council will inform abuse@neopets and the Defendant may have his or her account removed permanently.
