Close-ups

As you might guess, I do some close-up photography - with rather limited magnification, though. Most of my subjects are either insects or plants. Here you see some of the results.

The end of a fly

This fly ended up as a spider's dinner in Sulkava, Finland. When the fly hit the net, the spider quickly surrounded it with the net. Then the spider went back to its hiding place for about two minutes, before coming back and starting consuming the prey. It took only a couple of minutes until it was just an empty, black, dry sack, which were dropped down.
