Ladybird
This photo of a ladybird won the competition with subject "leaf" in summer 1999. It was taken just for the competition. We were leaving to our summer cottage with my spouse when I discovered this bug at our backyard. I quickly reloaded the car - you guessed it, the tripod was at the bottom of the luggage room, under all the bags - and set up the system to take the photo. I made three exposures, and this was the only one where the focus was at the right point, due to the wind moving the leaf.
