Yasushi hires Xiaoling as his company’s ghostbuster consultant.

Zhengzhong sprays water with pomegranate and pomelo leaves along the corridor to chase the unlucky ghost away. However, the ghost secretly gets into Mengmeng’s house.

Fenren is in charge of Miss Millennium Pageant Contest. He scolds his employees for not being able to get contestants with shapely bodies when he sees an auntie-like (Mengmeng) photo. He orders them to find new ones in an hour or else, he will sack them. In a temper, he throws all the forms. His employees accidentally mix Mengmeng’s contestant form with the successful ones.

Uncle He passes away and Fusheng receives a jade pendant from him. This jade pendant is meant for Uncle He's son. Although Uncle He does not know the truth, he has already treated Fusheng as his son.

Fusheng suggests to Tianyou to impersonate as his grandson and lives as his grandson does. Tianyou accepts the idea reluctantly.

Tianyou introduces Fusheng as his cousin to Xiaoling and Zhenzhen. He warns Fusheng that they are vampires and cannot consume anything unless it is blood. Zhenzhen cooks food at Tianyou’s house for herself, Xiaoling, Tianyou, Fusheng and Zhengzhong to eat. Tianyou does not feel like eating because he knows that he will get a stomachache after eating. Zhengzhong finds him different because Tianyou normally eats his meal very quickly. Fusheng visits the toilet many times during the meal. Tianyou receives a call from Liu Hai and goes to investigate a murder case. He fights with two vampires (Qi Luo and Crow). The two vampires escape successfully.

Xiaoling visits Qiu-shu and buys stocks from him. Qiu-shu tells Xiaoling that the case that Tianyou is investigating now may be linked to vampires.

Zhenzhen plays computer games with Fusheng. Later, she massages Tianyou’s shoulder and feet. Tianyou feels awkward about this. Zhenzhen suggests to Fusheng to transfer to her school to study so that it will more convenient because her school is nearer to Jiajia Building.

Xiaoling asks Tianyou over to her house to talk about the case he is working on now. Tianyou sees Danna’s portrait and remembers the time when he and she fight with Vampire Commander. Xiaoling reveals to Tianyou that the Ma family may not be able to destroy the direct descendents of Vampire Commander.

Fusheng helps Tianyou to have a makeover so that he will look exactly like the real Tianyou. With the aid of photographs of the late Tianyou, Fusheng deduces that Tianyou must be a cheerful person because Tianyou is smiling in every photo. He also guesses that Tianyou is a fashionable man from the clothes that he has in the wardrobe. Fusheng reveals to Tianyou that it has been a long time since people has dotted on him. Upon hearing this, Tianyou agrees to stay in Jiajia Building for a year. He does not know whether he is right in doing this but he has never seen Fusheng being so happy before for the past 60 years.

The next morning, breakfast is already prepared for Tianyou and Fusheng. Zhenzhen must have come before when Tianyou and Fusheng were sound asleep. It has also been a long time since both of them have slept peacefully with no nightmares. Fusheng helps Tianyou to wear a lucky charm (the bracelet which Xiaoling gave to Tianyou when he first joined the police force) that he found in Tianyou’s diary to remind him that he is Tianyou and not Guohua.

Mengmeng asks Tianyou to go over to her house to repair her television. She also reveals to Tianyou that her mother treats the television like her kin and Mengmeng as an outsider.

Mengmeng is overjoyed to know that she has been invited by the TV station to go for an interview for Miss Millennium Pageant. Fusheng helps Mengmeng by temporarily turning her into a beauty. Mengmeng is then selected.

Yasushi agrees to sponsor Miss Millennium Pageant upon seeing that Weilai is one of the contestants. This is because Weilai is the splitting image of his mother, Yamamoto Weilai.

Zhenzhen and Tianyou go to visit the old folks. Tianyou is supposed to tell jokes but he performs “Cut Up the Beauty” magic act instead in which he sits in a box for Zhenzhen to cut him. Zhenzhen is scared as she does not know magic and may end up killing Tianyou. Zhenzhen tells Tianyou that he treats her very well and she will not know what to do if he were to break up with her. Tianyou is confused to hear this.

Xiaoling sees the lucky charm that Tianyou is wearing and questions him with a strange look on her face. Tianyou feels puzzled and suspects that his grandson and Xiaoling have a special relationship.

Mengmeng discovers that the unlucky ghost is staying in her house. She lets him stay on because she sees that he is unable to leave the house because of the solution, which Zhengzhong sprays along the corridor. He also makes friends with Mengmeng. He is called Dum (You are encouraged to read the book of characters to know more about how Dum becomes an unlucky ghost).

Tianyou sees a kind of camera (at a shop) that can flash the person in front of it on TV. He buys it for Mengmeng and the latter manages to communicate with her mother for a minute or so.

Zhenzhen unintentionally complains to Zhengzhong that Tianyou has no time for her. Zhengzhong suggests using magic stone and magic mirror to check on what Tianyou is doing. Zhenzhen refuses to do so because she trusts Tianyou. However, Zhengzhong gives the magic stone to Tianyou, lying to him that it is Ma lucky stone. Tianyou gives it to Mengmeng as he thinks that it will bring good luck to Mengmeng in the Miss Millennium Pageant Contest.

Dum gets into Mengmeng's bag and goes with her to Miss Millennium Pageant Press Conference. Mengmeng goes in her original form without the help of Fusheng turning her into a beauty. Yasushi sees Fenren at the Press Conference and finds that the latter looks exactly like his father, Yamamoto Katsuo. Fenren makes fun of Mengmeng because she looks ugly now. Mengmeng controls her tears as she goes to the toilet. She meets Weilai and makes friends with her.

Zhengzhong shows Zhenzhen the magic mirror to check on what Tianyou is doing.

Yasushi chases after Weilai in the carpark but the latter drives away in a car. Yasushi is prevented from chasing after her by the drunken Mengmeng who comes along to ask him where the washroom is. She accidentally dirties his coat, making him angry. In the struggle to push Mengmeng away, Mengmeng’s magic stone (a necklace hanging around her neck) comes off and hangs onto Yasushi’s coat without anyone’s knowledge. Yasushi chases after Mengmeng, wanting to kill her. Mengmeng turns to run. Zhengzhong, Zhenzhen and Xiaoling see all this and Xiaoling suspects that Mengmeng is in trouble. She also deduces that the man who is after Mengmeng cannot be Tianyou because Mengmeng tells the man that she seems to have seen him before.

Tianyou is informed. He arrives at the carpark and meets up with Xiaoling. Xiaoling is surprised that he arrives so quickly. They go to search for Mengmeng together. Tianyou feels that something is wrong and rushes back to Xiaoling’s car. Mengmeng is kneeling on the car with her hands clasped together as if she is praying. Mengmeng is dead. Dum is forced to appear and he explains to Xiaoling that he does not know what has happened. Tianyou tells Xiaoling to inform Meng-ma the death of Mengmeng while he goes to investigate the case.

Zhengzhong, Xiaoling and Zhenzhen arrive at Meng-ma's house. Mengmeng returns to her home. She is scared away when the frightened Zhengzhong shouts out that Mengmeng is dead upon seeing her. Xiaoling manages to get Mengmeng’s soul back with Meng-ma’s help (Mengmeng can only hear her kin’s voice and Meng-ma is her only kin). The gang brings Mengmeng’ to Qiu-shu’s operating theatre in the hospital.

Mengmeng’s negative air reaches 5 and stays there. She may become a vegetable ghost even if she can drag on as she is too weak to cross the bridge of rebirth. Tianyou arrives and uses his vampire powers to raise Mengmeng’s negative air over 30. Xiaoling hands Dum to Qiu-shu for him to handle. She also discovers that the murderer is not a vampire. Furthermore, she reveals to Tianyou about the magic stone. Tianyou promises Fusheng that he will capture the murderer and avenge Mengmeng.

Fenren goes to find Meng-ma to persuade her to appear on TV to accept the Miss Friendly award on Mengmeng’s behalf but Zhenzhen tells him that Meng-ma is sick. Fenren explains that he wants to help Mengmeng to fulfill her dream. He approaches Zhenzhen for help and the latter agrees. He also finds Zhenzhen familiar but Zhenzhen thinks that they have not met before.

Fusheng and Xiaoling find out that the victims have a common trait. All the victims have survived an ordeal before. They guess that Weilai is the next victim because she has survived from a fall when skiing in Hokkaido. Xiaoling hurries to the beauty pageant contest alone.

Qiu-shu goes to visit Danna. He has been taking care of the Kuangs all these years as instructed by Danna. He tells Danna that he discovered a bout of vampire qi in Mengmeng’s body and guessed that Tianyou is a vampire or the present Tianyou is actually Guohua. Danna orders Qiu-shu to destroy Tianyou if he is a vampire despite the fact that Tianyou may be the 2nd descendent.

Weilai tells Zhenzhen that in order to increase the TV’s rating, Fenren has forced every contestant to vote for Mengmeng as Ms Friendly. She also tells Zhenzhen that she hears Fenren wanting to thank the killer for creating such a good publicity for the pageant. Zhenzhen is very angry upon hearing this and returns the award to Fenren on the stage. She adds on that she hopes Fenren will let Mengmeng off after tonight and not make use of her again to create publicity. Upon seeing this on TV, Dum and his ghost friends go to the pageant to create trouble.

Fusheng and Tianyou arrive and discover that they are right that Weilai is the next victim.

Xiaoling is caught in a traffic jam.

Dum’s friends possess all the contestants’ bodies except for Weilai’s because Weilai faints upon seeing Dum through her yin-yang eyes. Fusheng uses his powers to help Tianyou impersonate as Weilai to lure the murderer out. Tianyou goes on stage to perform a healthy dance stint.

Qiu-shu arrives at the pageant earlier than Xiaoling because he took the MTR and there is no traffic jam. He sees Xiaoling at the entrance. Qiu-shu reveals Tianyou’s vampire identity.

Wang Qiqi, one of the contestants of Miss Millennium Pageant, goes on stage to be interviewed by the comperes. She is smoking. Furthermore, she scolds Fenren. Hence, Zhengzhong guesses something is wrong. Using his special glasses, Zhengzhong sees that Qiqi is possessed. Zhengzhong goes to the backstage and hits the ghost out of Qiqi's body using his Buddha Palm. Later, other contestants appear and beat up him up. Fortunately, Xiaoling and Qiu-shu arrive to save him. Dum and friends decide to continue to make fun of Fenren although they know that Qiu-shu will teach them a lesson. Dum possesses the male compere’s body.

Tianyou sees Fenren at the backstage and finds that he looks exactly like Yamamoto Katsuo.

When Dum goes to the front stage, he announces that the winner is Ruan Mengmeng. Upon hearing this, Mengmeng wakes up and appears on the stage, scaring everyone (including Fenren) away. Mengmeng points out Yasushi as the murderer when she sees him sitting at his seat. She and Dum chase after him. Yasushi finds the real Weilai and brings her away in his car. Fusheng tries to stop him but to no avail becase he is too weak from helping Tianyou to impersonate as Weilai. Tianyou arrives and chases after Yasushi. Xiaoling puts a talisman on Tianyou to reveal his identity as Tianyou and not Weilai. Qiu-shu secretly pastes a directional talisman on Tianyou to track his whereabouts.

Mengmeng and Dum try to stop Yasushi. Forgetting that Mengmeng is already dead, Meng-ma runs forward to save Mengmeng and is knocked down by Yasushi’s car. Tianyou uses his powers to bring Meng-ma to the hospital as quickly as possible. Qiu-shu is surprised that Tianyou’s speed is so fast.

Meng-ma is brought to Qiu-shu’s operating theatre. In order to save Meng-ma, a person’s good fortune must be given to Meng-ma. Only Zhenzhen’s eight characters is compatible with Meng-ma. Zhenzhen is willing to do so. Mengmeng then sets off to Hell to find Mengma to pass her a talisman. Xiaoling goes to find Tianyou to subdue him.

Yasushi reveals to Weilai about his past......

Yasushi was forced to live with Katsuo at the age of eight. The former feels that he is abandoned because his parents did nothing to stop Katsuo from taking him away. Katsuo treats him very badly. One day, Tianyou comes and kills Katsuo. Yasushi believes that Tianyou is a Heavenly Deity sent from Heaven to help him and also to inform him that he, Yasushi, is a vampire.

Note: So now, Yasushi believes that he himself is a vampire and does everything that he believes a vampire will do - bite people, afraid of garlic and cross. He also believes that he is able to live forever.

Tianyou arrives and is about to avenge for Mengmeng when Xiaoling comes to stop him.

Meng-ma returns to life successfully with the help of Dum but Dum was captured by the Hell Guards. Later, he returns to the mortal world as the King of Hell does not want him. He stays in a clay doll with Mengmeng with the help of Xiaoling. The clay dolls are given to Meng-ma to be looked after.
