He is the disciple of Xiaoling. He is a cheerful guy who has a sweet tongue and knows how to make people happy. He works hard and manages to learn a lot of things from his teacher. He is very fortunate as he has a lot of good friends who are willing to risk their lives for him. He is a very hardworking person and learns a lot of skills from his teacher.

He is a 69 years old man who has the looks of an 9 years old child because he was turned into a vampire by the vampire commander 60 years ago. He is a filial child who looks after his father (Uncle He) well. He is a good company and a good partner to Guohua for the past 60 years and always cheers the latter up by amusing him with his jokes. He has a girlfriend called Mary who is 9 years old. He longs to grow up lives the life of a normal person.

	Kuang Guohua [Tianyou Comes Back to Life]
	He was bitten by the Vampire Commander when he helped Ma Danna to subdue him 60 years ago. Since then, he has not been happy until he moves into Jiajia Building. He seldom smiles nor laughs because he is troubled by the fact that he is a vampire and what happens 60 years ago. He never sucks human blood as he does not want the victim to suffer with him in this world. He will rather live in loneliness than to turn his kin into vampire. He often lets his emotions rule him. He always remembers his first love - Xiu although she has died a long time ago. Later when he moves into Jiajia Building, he impersonates as his grandson and also as Zhenzhen’s boyfriend because he cannot bring himself to tell the people at Jiajia Building that the real Tianyou has died. Although he is Zhenzhen’s boyfriend, the person he really likes is Xiaoling. He is the reincarnation of Kuang Zhong-tang.
	Kuang Tianyou [Tianyou Comes Back to Life]
	He is an optimistic and cheerful guy. He smiles and laughs frequently, maybe because he is free of worries. He has a girlfriend called Zhenzhen but the person he really loves is Xiaoling although he often quarrels with her. He is a brave cop and he likes to work on the cases alone. He also helps Xiaoling in her cases.
	Ma Xiaoling Joey [Tianyou Comes Back to Life]
	She is the 40th descendent of the Ma Clan. She is very powerful as a ghostbuster but not as powerful as Danna. She appears to be cold as she knows that she cannot fall in love but is soft-hearted. She is a stubborn person and will not give up unless her question is answered. She also has no patience to check books up for information but Qiu-shu always does this for her. She may appear to be materialistic but is actually using money to hide her feelings. She also loves to shop. She and Tianyou are in love with each other deeply but they are unable to be together because members of the Ma Clan are not allowed to shed tears for men. She is the reincarnation of Ma Ling-er. Later, she falls in love with Guohua which causes them both to be in misery as they know they cannot be together. She is best friend with Zhenzhen and grows up together with her.
	Vampire Commander/Holy One/Jiang Zhenzu [Tianyou Comes Back to Life]
	He is Pan Gu. He forgets his real identity and his task in coming to this world. His task is to monitor Nuwa and to destroy her if something goes wrong with the Earth but falls deeply in love with her. His unmoving and true love for the latter makes him very powerful as a vampire. He is not from this world but learns to live like a human when he meets Tianyou. Dingdang teaches him love. He also likes Dingdang but not as much as Nuwa. He keeps his word and always does what he promises. He does not need to suck blood like vampires and can eat human food without worries. He is very intelligent and learns things very quickly. He can learn to be very good or very evil but is basically good in nature.
	Nuwa/Mother Earth [Cryptogram of the Holy Book]
	She creates the Earth and all the living things and gives them feelings. As she has never been a friend with a human, she talks with no feelings. She is disappointed with the world as she thinks that the people err again, hence she plans to destroy the world which she thinks that is no longer a paradise. She is stubborn and refuses to admit her mistake. She is jealous of Dingdang but also refuses to admit it.
	Ma Dingdang [The Death of Zhenzhen]
	She is the lady boss of Forget It Bar and the 39th descendent of the Ma Clan. She is Xiaoling’s aunt. She is the most powerful descendent of the Ma Clan and is believed to be able to subdue the Vampire Commander but her love for the Vampire Commander makes her unwilling to do so. She is a promising woman and also keeps her word. She always dresses in black and her characteristic is a lot like Xiaoling as both of them are women of the Ma Clan. She also loves to shop and may appear to be materialistic but is also actually using money to hide her feelings.
	Situ Fenren [The New Millennium Dream]
	He is the clone of Yamamoto Katsuo. He is a temperamental but capable man. He will do anything to get the highest viewers’ rate of his TV show. He changes his attitude greatly when he is demoted because of the mess he created during Millennium Pageant. He is always at a loss when he sees girls cry and cares deeply for the person he loves. He is also believed to be the Saviour which is proven wrong when Guohua discovers that by saving a person, he is actually harming the other person. He becomes a vampire later in the show when the Vampire Commander bites him. He is good by nature and is very faithful. He loves Zhenzhen deeply and is shattered when she dies. He then becomes a teacher and likes to give his students detention, regardless of what happen. She also likes Dingdang but his heart has died since Zhenzhen’s death.
	Wang Zhenzhen [Tianyou Comes Back to Life]
	She is a pure innocent young primary school teacher. She is the splitting image of Xue, Domoto Yashushi’s grandmother and Yamamoto Katsuo’s wife as she is the reincarnation of the latter. She does what she thinks is right and has no hesitant in standing out to say what she thinks is right. Her characteristics resemble that of Xiu as she will forgive the man that he loves no matter what he does. The person she loves most is Tianyou but later in the show, she feels that she should like Situ Fenren.
	Domoto Yasushi [Tianyou Comes Back to Life]
	He is a young man with mental problem since 8 years old as he is ill-treated by his grandfather. He believes that Guohua is a Heavenly Deity who has come to help him and to inform him that he is a vampire. He falls in love with Weilai as she is the splitting image of his mother. He becomes a real vampire when Crow bites him and he is able to enter people’s dream and make the things that happen in the dream to become real. He is also the boss when he enters people’s dream. Although he listens to Weilai, he is a selfish man as he does not care whether his son will suffer when born and he will do anything to have his son born.
	Jin Weilai [The New Millennium Dream]
	She is a 21 years old straightforward fun-loving lady who resembles Yamamoto Weilai. She studies Animism and Psychology in the America as she hopes to make friends from the nether world because she has yin-yang eyes and can see them. She is afraid of them but the more afraid she is, the more she wants to know more and understand them. Her dream is to fall hopelessly in love. She falls in love with Domoto Yasushi later in the show and loves him even more when she discovers that he is a real vampire but she scolds him most of the time when they meet as he always does things that anger Weilai. She becomes a vampire when Domoto Yasushi bites her in order to save her when she was seriously injured in Four Countries Building. She loves her son a lot and will do anything to protect him.
	El Nino [Cryptogram of the Holy Book]
	He is the son of Domoto Yasushi and Weilai. He ages rapidly when exposed to the negative energy of the full moon as he is the child of a vampire. He is also known as the Star of Evil. He has great powers and easily picks up skills from the other vampires. He is not injured easily and may be able to defeat the Vampire Commander and spar with Nuwa. He is a sensible child and listens to his mother. He is in fact, a good guy and not at all evil. He is filled with compassion as he saves a dragon when he sees him in danger.
	Jin Zhengzhong [Tianyou Comes Back to Life]

	She is a kind-hearted cute cat demon who is looked after by Fusheng 60 years ago. She is good friends with Dingdang and works in Forget It Bar.

	She is a cat demon who is looked after by Fusheng 60 years ago. She is in love with Guohua as the latter has saved her before but she never gets her love in return. She is extremely jealous of Xiaoling as Guohua only likes Xiaoling. She is very stubborn but is intelligent and learns things very fast if she wants to and puts all her heart to do it.
	Black Rain [The Symphony of Destiny]
	She is the black Colour Envoy, representing resentment. She is always in black and can foretell the future. She tries means and ways to help Xiaoling, Zhenzhen and Weilai but all she can do is to tell them a bit about their future. She does not like Mother Earth as she lives in misery for the past years.
	Red Tide [The Death of Zhenzhen]
	She is the red Colour Envoy, representing sense of loss. Everyone thinks she is characterless. She never smiles nor cries and does not have a face. She serves the Vampire Commander loyally and the latter trusts her the most among the Five Colour Envoys. She likes Tianyou and envies Xiu as she can find a man whom she has complete confidence in.
	Bai Xinmei/White Fox [Not One Less]
	She is the white Colour Envoy, representing love. Her forte is traveling through time. She is also capable of making streets and buildings disappear and reappear. Her job is to control man’s obsession with love and hatred but she herself falls into the mire of love instead. She is alluring and bewitched King Zhou, causing the downfall of his country. She loves and trusts Yong Fu a lot and believes that he will not betray her. She cares for Mary deeply and wants her to live happily.
	Sunny/Yellow Boy [Tianyou Comes Back to Life]
	He is Tianyou’s friend and also a cop. He is the yellow Colour Envoy, representing jealousy. He is Xinmei’s ex-boyfriend and is jealous that Xinmei is living happily with Yongfu. He thinks of Xinmei every day and tries means and ways to get rid of the men around her.
	Ming Ri [Love after Doomsday] is also Pan Gu.
	He Yingqiu [Tianyou Comes Back to Life]
	He is a senior consultant in a private hospital. He also treats ghosts who are sick and is the descendent of the Mao Clan. He is in love with Ma Danna. He drinks black coffee whenever he is unhappy.
	Ma Danna’s soul [Tianyou Comes Back to Life]
	She is the 38th descendent of the Ma Clan. She is Xiaoling’s great aunt. She lingers in Ling Ling Tang Company.
	Lan Dali/Blue Strength [Sadako’s Rock Bun]
	He is the blue Colour Envoy, representing power. He likes to create trouble in this world with Crow and the Qi Luo and loves pandemonium. He feels that if there is no chaos, this world will not be fun. He loves power and wants to take over as Mother of the Earth.
	Crow/Li Weisi [The New Millennium Dream]
	He is a disciple of a highly acclaimed monk in Japan 400 years ago. He betrays his master and pledge allegiance with a rebel. He wishes to make the human race extinct by activating the Blood Curse. He was seriously injured in a fight and was half-dead when he reached China. To attain immortality, he lets the Vampire Commander to bite him. He is subordinate of Lan Dali and feels bored after being a vampire for such a long time. He wishes that the Vampire Commander will die soon.
	Qi Luo [The New Millennium Dream]
	He was overjoyed when he met the Vampire Commander a very long time ago, much before Crow. He begged the Vampire Commander for 3 days and nights before the latter is willing to bite him and turn him into a vampire. He is also the subordinate of Lan Dali and feels bored after being a vampire for such a long time and even forgets how old he is already. He also hopes that the Vampire Commander will die soon.
	Ruan Mengmeng [Tianyou Comes Back to Life]
	She is a 22 years old kind and innocent lady who does not have much education. Her father died when she was young and she discovers that her mother does not like her and wants her to go out to work. When she grows up and wants to communicate with her mother, her mother suffers from senile dementia and watches TV all day long. She is willing to take up any job that does not require much education and she works hard to support her mother.
	Dum [The New Millennium Dream]
	He has been very unlucky since he was born. He has gone to see a fortune teller before. The fortune teller said that he was a bodhisattva in his past few lives but he broke Heaven’s rules and was punished. He has to be reborn 99 times. In this life, his mother died after giving birth to him. His father went bankrupt and killed himself. Dum moved in with his grandparents and they died in a fire. He was the only one left. When he started working, the company went bust too. He later became a stuntman and because he wanted to become famous, he asked Bruce Lee to be his teacher. Bruce Lee agreed to accept him but on the day he accepted Dum, he died. Dum killed himself because he felt he was useless when he was alive. But he never thought that he will become an unlucky ghost when he die.
	You Zhijie [Sadako’s Rock Bun] is Xiaoling’s former schoolmates. He likes Xiaoling and holds a high position in a computer company.
	Meng-ma [Tianyou Comes Back to Life] is Mengmeng’s mother. She is suffering from senile dementia and only recovers after she dies.
	Liu Hai [Tianyou Comes Back to Life] is Tianyou’s boss.
	Uncle Gu [Tianyou Comes Back to Life] is a security guard of Jiajia Building. He has been working there for many years.
	Frankie [The New Millennium Dream] is the television station’s assistant producer.
	Wang Qiqi [The New Millennium Dream]
	She is a 19 years old lady who studies nutritional Science in the States and hopes to impart her knowledge to everyone. She is one of the finalists of the Miss Millennium Pageant.
	Wu Aiyi [The Symphony of Destiny] is a filial child who becomes a prostitute to help her father to repay his debt.
	Li Jiaming [The Saviour] is a drunkard who dies on his way to the hospital because of Situ Fenren.
	Peter [Kill Romeo]
	He is Dingdang’s friend. He is in the Theatre Group and acts as Romeo when the Theatre Group is staging Romeo and Juliet.
	Mary [Not One Less] is Fusheng’s classmate and Yong Fu’s daughter.
	Zhu Yong Fu [Not One Less] is Xinmei’s husband. He is selfish and afraid of death. He will do anything to save himself.
	Uncle Elevator [The New Millennium Dream] fetches souls who no longer have worries and accompanies them on their last journies.
	Zhang Shichang [Not One Less] is Fusheng’s classmate.

	Laili [Tianyou Comes Back to Life]
	He is the 4th descendent of the Vampire Commander. He is afraid of loneliness and hence, he turns his wife into a vampire when she is about to die but is upset after doing so and regretted deeply.
	Shiya [Tianyou Comes Back to Life]
	She is Laili’s wife and also a vampire. She is an English lady who is daring and cries easily. She is a sentimental woman who is willing to die for her love one. She has a dog called Beanie which she looks after with great care.
	Jenny [Tianyou Comes Back to Life]
	She is Laili’s vampire servant. She serves Laili faithfully and is willing to risk her life to get a task done assigned to her by her master.
	Peacock [Tianyou Comes Back to Life] is a highly respectable monk from Japan.

	She becomes autistic after her parents died. She is an innocent young gentle lady who loses trust in all the men and becomes extremely phobic of them when she is raped by the one she most trusted. She has an IQ of 138 and was already an outstanding web designer at the age of 18.

	She is the Emperor’s trusted witch and her task is to capture the fire dragon to subdue the Vampire Commander. She is also deeply in love with Zhong-tang.

	He is the Emperor of the Qin Dynasty. He wants to obtain immortality, so that he can control his kingdom forever, and will do anything to get it. He finally obtains it when Xu Fu turns him into a vampire. He is the present Laili.

	He is the subordinate of Shihuang. His task is to search for the elixir of life. He is the present Qi Luo.
