I thought I'd just throw this last photo in, too... On the way back to Marshall Pass, we decided to follow the Colorado/Continental Divide Trail instead of the logging road. It stays fairly close to the Divide, slightly down the eastern slope for the most part. It's a more difficult hike (more up-and-down), but the views are worth it.
The photo above was taken from the Trail, looking eastward, down a tributary of Poncha Creek. I believe the mountains on the horizon are the northernmost Sangre de Cristos: perhaps Methodist Mountain, Simmons Peak, and Hunts Peak, among others? Antora Peak is just off the right edge of this photo. The Arkansas/Rio Grande divide continues north and east from there, down Sheep Mountain - which is the ridge heading down from the right side. From there, this divide goes across Poncha Pass and up to the crest of the Sangres - where it then turns southward again, following that range down into New Mexico.
