Body
SOAPS
Hand-cut bars are approximately 3.5 ozs. in paper
wrappers.
Herbal Beauty Bars - In 3 fragrances Hand-made soaps that
combine the skin soothing properties of calendula and chamomile flowers
with the rich feel of olive and coconut oils for a non-drying soap.
I developed these mild soaps for skin that tends to be dry; a good facial
soap that is great all over. Animal fat is used. Color is a creamy yellow.
Lavender, Rose, or Patchouli.
Old Fashioned Lye Soap - The unscented
soap makes IVORY seem harsh by comparison. Old-timers here in the
Ozarks love it as a shampoo, as a stain remover, for washing clothes (use
the blender with water to make it liquid). Can be used as a horticultural
spray. Some even claim that leaving the lather on after exposure
to poison ivy is a sure cure.
BATH SALTS - Primarily a fragrance
experience, bath salts reputedly relax and tone tired skin and muscles,
keep the water hot longer, draw toxins from the skin, and soften the water.
My recipe effervesces upon addition to the water for a burst of fragrance.
I've been told by customers my bath salts are the best! Contains epsom salts, sea salt, baking soda, cornstarch, citric acid, and fragrance oils.
Rose, Lavender, Patchouli, Lilac Musk, My Secret Garden, Honeysuckle Rose, and Flower Patch fragrances, in cellophane bags of 8 ozs. which makes 2 large baths.
Old Fashioned Liniment - We use this for back, joint,
and muscle pain with massage therapy. Combined in a rubbing alcohol
and olive oil base are extracts of hops, wormwood, comfrey, arnica,
wintergreen, cayenne, mullein, mugwort, white thyme, camphor, clove, cajeput,
spruce & nutmeg.
BATH HERBS
- Inspired by a legendary French beauty's secret for keeping
youthful skin, I included a wider array of herbs to help aching muscles
and bones, soothe itchy or inflamed skin conditions, and relax all over.
It's like making tea in your bath. Directions are on the bag.
One bath per bag. Comfrey, calendula, chamomile, roses, lavender, plantain,
lady's mantle, eucalyptus, peppermint, rose geranium, red clover, hops,
rosemary, mullein, orange blossoms, oatstraw & benzoin.
INHALANT - I use this in a vaporizer, or mixed
in an ointment as a chest rub when suffering from a cold. It smells
better than Vick's. Made with 100% essential oils of lavender, eucaplyptus,
rosemary, cajeput, cedar and white thyme.
