PAST YOU

When the last set of clothes
Has fallen from your soul
when the last hand has been played
when i have been tricked
into feeling a loss
when it was all about win
when the fingers of grief
are tight over my heart,
useless in truth,
the lifeless mask of Pierrot the clown
I continue painting with my tears
when you are past the moon.
when you are past you
I seek the flame in my soul
To burn this night away
until the next night
when we shall meet again
unmasked and immortal...
in the light
it cannot be too long, past you..
