The chaste druid
In my heart
turns his gaze away
from the naked hunger
in your eyes

His wrinkled hands
assuage the offered call
of sadness' contours
with the thick veil
of wisdom's will

the shivers of human pain
Are left to freeze
as fossiles of a lost species
called Ego...
I walk past and beyond
a call that I have not heard:
you.
