Welcome to our ranch!
Meet some of our friends.

These are our friends Curly Bear, Miz Nellie, and Miz Pinky.

The Catus was used to get water from when cowboys were out on the trail and needed water to drink, as they crossed the long desert.
A desert is a dry, sandy land, with little or no plant life.

This is our friend, Miz Hennie.
She gives us fresh eggs every morning.

This is our friend, Miz Browneyes.
She gives us fresh milk.
We use the milk to drink, make butter and buttermilk.

This is our friend Macy.
He guards the house and is fun to play with.

The Scarecrow was used to keep birds (mostly crows) out of corn fields and gardens.

This is a horse-shoe.
It is a flat metal plate shaped like a U.
It's nailed to the horse's hoof to protect it.

These are our other freinds, Miz Rose and Mr. BunnyRock.
