The Bible speaks of Hell in describing punishment.
Both body and soul are destroyed there.
God has the power to throw people into Hell,
but it was by their own chose that put them there, by rejecting the Lord.
We must all give a personal account to God for what we have said and done in our own lives. A personal relationship to God requires personal responsibility. God's sharp Word shows us where we are wrong not only in what we do, but in how we think and feel. We would like to hide our guilt. We cannot. God has perfect knowledge of what is going on in His world, even to the point of knowing the very thoughts of our hearts. This calls us to repent before we have to face the final judgement. Live in the Spirit to please God, or live in sin to please death.

Some people believe there is no Hell.
If there isn't a Hell then there is no judgement for evil - and therefore we live in an unjust universe. Do you honestly believe the Hitlers of this world will never be judged for their crimes, but will be allowed to spend eternity with God in spite of the fact they fought against God and broke every moral law He gave us? And if there is no Hell then Christ is a liar - because He reapeatedly warned us about reality.
"The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will weed out of His kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. They will throw them into fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth"
(Matthew 13: 41-42)
But if Christ did not tell the truth about this, how do you know you can trust what He said about anything - including His death for our eternal salvation?
But Christ can be trusted because He is God - and God does NOT lie.

Sin is addictive.
It masters everyone who tries it.
Sin promises freedom, but cannot deliver.
Only Jesus Christ can give true freedom - freedom to master sin and reach one's God-given potential.

Satan has no moral constraints.
Murder and lying are normal for him.

He is always LYING to you and really saying,
"I HAVE A LOSER IN MY HANDS!!"

Satan confuses people.

We must constantly check our lives by Christ's teachings rather than human traditions.

The Son of God demands that we either believe in Him and come into the light or else reject Him and remain in darkness. No neutral position can be taken. Jesus confronts each one of us with these two choices. We refuse to believe because our depraved life - styles prefer sin to Jesus. Such depravity comes because we choose evil deeds. Such depravity makes us guilty and fearful. We know our wickedness becomes evident in the presence of Jesus' purity. Even so, we are not beyond hope.
Jesus came to SAVE sinners.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.
(John 3:16-18, NIV)

In Revelation 19:20, it talks about Hell
being a fiery lake of burning sulfur.

Revelation 20:15:
If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life,
he was thrown into the lake of fire.

This is second death in that it involves a final separation from God.
All people die once.
The wicked die a second time with no hope. Judgement follows death.
A time of evaluation for determining rewards awaits all believers.
A time of eternal punishment awaits unbelievers.
Burns, but is not consumed.

The dictionary explains Hell as:

1. The place where demons, and devils live and where wicked people go to be punished after they die.
2. The place where the Greeks, Hebrews, etc. believed that the spirits of people go there after they die.

Other names for Hell are: Hades, Sheol & Gehenna.

All your riches cannot save you from Hell. Nothing can put the fire out!

The time to decide for Christ is NOW,
because once we die it will be too late.
In Hebrews 9:27, it says
"Man is destined to die once, and after that the judgement."
This verse also, incidentally, shows us clearly that there is no such thing as reincarnation - the idea that our souls return again and again to this earth.

The important thing for every one of us to realize is that God has done everything possible to bring salvation to us, and there is no reason for us to delay accepting His plan for our lives.

God sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, into the world to die for our sins on the cross.
This was something that no one else could ever do,
only Christ was without sin and could therefore be a perfect sacrifice
for our sins.
All we must do is turn our sins over to Christ,
and trust Him for our salvation by faith.
God's salvation is a wonderful gift to us that we can never earn.
All we have to do is receive it.

My challenge to you is to invite Christ into your life,
if you have never done so, without delay. After you die, you can't turn back the hands of time and try to accept Christ as your personal Savior; it's too late!
You are only one away from death.

"I tell you, NOW is the time of God's favor,
NOW is the day of salvation.
(2 Corinthians 6:2)

Choose this day to be able to go through this door.
Receive the gift of eternal life in Heaven, not hell.
IT'S YOUR CHOSE!
