How Christianroom was started 
On November 2, 1995, while on AOL, the Lord gave me (aka JLeeCarr or JL) the idea of starting another room, so a close friend BBClare (which has gone on to be with the Lord) and I could talk about the Lord. There were too many in the room we were in to discuss anything about Jesus without someone saying go to another room. So I searched on how to create your own room and the Lord gave me the idea for the name of the room, which turned out to be Christianroom.
After a very short while, there were alot of people who came in to talk about our Lord, have prayer, give their testimony, find help,
have fellowship, and people were witnessed to. There were several decisions made to accept the Lord and I'm sure the Lord touched alot of people in other ways too.
The first people were: BBClare, Nordy, Zitzer, Ute and myself.
January of 1996, Zitzer suggested I take the room to mIRC, because it was easier than AOL and cheaper at that time, because AOL charged by the hour (way too expensive!). It didn't take long and there were alot of people who started coming in and receiving a blessing like on AOL. I really miss talking to all my friends every night. Wish we could have a reunion of all the ops (ones in charge of the room) and others who came by to say hi or may God bless you or the ones who came by for prayer request. We had a lot of prayers answered in that room. I started another on AOL, but so far I am the only one there. My work is taking a lot of my time, so I can't be in there much. Working on getting another job where I can. The Lord's will it will be a great job and good hours.
