Raquel's Memoir
A life experience that I had almost took my life. I had a serious case of the flu. My mother kept buying over the counter drugs formula's but none of it worked.Everyday I got worst. Until Monday mourning when I got out of bed to get ready for school I went to the bathroom and when I turned the door knob I fell flat on my face. This was because I had passed out. I was out for atleast 20 minutes. My sister called an ambulance. I was rushed to the hospital. I was admitted for observation for a week at Jamaica Hospital. I remember taking anti-biotics and eating nasty horrible food for they tasted just about the same.
I couldn't wait to get home and eat my mother's cooking. My friends at school thought I was gonna die. I missed alot class work which I had to make up anyway.After my experience I told myself that I would never allow myself to get that sick again.
