Chloe

The third cat to come into our lives was Chloe, a little long-haired, grey and white female stray that we took in. She was a real lap cat and loved to cuddle up, whether I was sitting watching TV, or working on my computer.
The trouble with Chloe was that she wasn't fixed. This didn't cause a problem at first, since Freckles and our other cat at the time, Panther were both fixed. At the time, I wasn't in a position to pay $160 to the vet to get her fixed, and I hadn't yet heard about SNAP - the Spay and Neuter Assistance Program. I wish I had heard about them earlier - would have saved a lot of trouble and heartache down the road...
Unfortunately, I no longer have Chloe. She was born to be a mother, I think, and she certainly was prolific, having three litters of kittens in quick succession, (courtesy of BJ - see below) It seemed to me that once she was fixed, she went into a depression and lost all tolerance for other cats. She literally flew at them and there'd be screeching and fur flying. For the sake of peace (mine and hers) I had to find a new home for her.
