healthy.

sneezes like 
her daddy, and
knows that if
she has a bad
night she gets
to sleep in the
bed. I think 
shes takeing
advantage of
this lol!


Update: 8/15/03

Kylah is trying
to push off on
her belly as if
to crawl!

She is also
smileing at us
(when its not 
gas) she is 
also trying to
lift her head.

Today she is
starting to 
make various
babbling 
noises.

Well Here she is, Our little fuss bunny. 
(my god the nick names have started all ready!)

----- The story ------


I had a rough labor, 40 hours worth, pushing for 3 of those hours. There 
were some nasty complications. If I  was  on  my back,  her  heart  rate 
decreased to an alarming pace.  The Doctor  looked  at me, I wont forget
his face. he  looked  so...  I  don't  know...,  distressed,  regretful, 
disappointed,  or saddened,  that I  might not have the vaginal delivery 
I wanted. 

Thankfully though,  he asked if I  wanted  to attempt using  the  vacuum
method.  After a second epidural,  and some more IV fluids,  I continued 
the pushing.There were probably 7 people in the room, Shaun, the doctor,
nurses,  and   anesthesiologist.    All   counting,   pushing  with  me. 
What an experience.

Kylah came about 15 minutes after they  started attempting to  help  her 
out with the vacuum. Her head still has a slight bruise. 

As the doctor raised her, so that the umbilical cord could  be  cut, He
did a double take.   Kylah had severed her own umbilical cord while  in
utero. They rushed her away from us. Worry came over me, I had not even
 the chance to see her face yet. Shauns face went pale. Within  seconds 
though, we heard her making a slight gurgling noise, then crying.

they cleaned her up and brought her to us, I was still being stitched..

She's the most beautiful thing. Dark hair  like her  father,  and  dark 
blue eyes like myself.  Not chunky,  but  not skinny.  She  wasn't blue, 
or jaundiced. she was a  rich tan color.

Shes simply beautiful.

Due date is re-scheduled for the 10th of Aug. that meens 4 days to go.. Im very nervous. new addition. 6 lbs 5 oz. born May

Ok  The  update  that  was  posted  here
was  so  old  that I decided  to  simply
delete  it,  Unfortunately  now  I  have
to  think  of enough to type to replace,
not only  the  lines   that  were  here,
but  also  add  lines  to  make  up  for
the  new  picture I  added to the  side.




I  removed   the  old  image  because it
was colored to match the old  background
Ok  ok,  no big,  but I'm just too  lazy
to  re color the fade effect, (real pain 
in the arse) and I didnt save my original.




The  new  pic  I added to replace the old
is  the  different  stages  shaun  and  I 
have  gone  through  in  appearance  over
the  years  together.  I  think  my  hair
has the biggest changes.



I need  a  better  final  picture.  As my 
roots have grown in, and shauns bangs are
VERY short now. I think the next  picture
I will  add  will  prolly  have  Kylah in
between us. :-)

This is the first glimpse of our 
soon to be first child. She was 
shy durring the ultrasound so it 
was hard to deturmine what sex it
is. The doctor guessed at girl, 
She has an average heart rate of 
160, (faster more likely girl, 
The slower More likely boy.)

The photos are framed and next to 
shauns desk, keeping him company 
when Im at work. *smiles* we look 
forward to meeting our sweet baby, 
VERY active,   Kylah...

Its huge. My belly button is going away!

Oh god, shaun just made me calculate
my weight... Ive gained 34 lbs! gah!

and scan in the pics. They didnt know for sure but guessed at
"girl" :-)

March 4th 2003, at the start of 18 
weeks, Tiffany (friend) is now 8 
months!, she has no belly button!
