I enjoy taking part in the regular Monthly Modelling Challenges (MMCs) on the Caligari Truespace Forum. The rules are pretty simple - create a model on the theme selected (by the previous winner). Unlike the faster SMCs, these don't have to be done in such a hurry, allowing more complex models and themes to be pursued - with a wider degree of interpretation! Forum members then vote for a winner. These challenges haven't been going as long as the SMCs and there have only been a few to date but I've managed to enter several and have managed to get some respectable votes, although I've yet to win! But I've enjoyed the challenge of coming up with models I wouldn't otherwise consider and learning new techniques. Below are my MMC entries to date.
