There's something I really love doing...to smile and laugh!!
Yep! That's me!!!...just like my homepage... still 'under construction' !!! Don't say I didn't warn you!!
As you may have already noticed through the first page, I'm a teacher and I LOVE IT!!!
I'm teaching English and German as a second language, mostly in the 10th and 11th grade. Although I teach German in the 12th grade, too.
As I have referred to at the beginning, I was born in Figueira da Foz, I grew up in Germany, but spent my teenage years in Lavos and in Figueira. I've studied at the University in Coimbra and I've earned three scholarships to Germany: Halle, Münster and one full year in Heidelberg.
I've finished my university degree in the year 1992 and since then I've
been teaching, mostly English, since there is a lack of students for German
as a second language. I've started teaching in Figueira da Foz, then went
to Batalha, Cantanhede and finally ended up in São João da
Madeira (since 1995/1996) where I still am. I really like my students and
the Escola Secundária Dr. Serafim Leite itself, and well, I've also
started dating... and you know how things are after that....
One thing I almos forgot is that I´m also training some future teachers in English. They are students from the University in Oporto and some of the material you'll find here was kindly given to me by them. You'll see that I've mentioned their names in the material they've given me.
In
my homepage you may find some material for English
and German classes, as well as some funny and
interesting stuff. Have a look around!
