Mary E. Page, daughter of the late John and Harriet Page, was born at Rock Creek, Hardin County. Apr. 14, 1866 and died 6 June 1935 age 69 years 1 month and 22 days. She was baptised at the Rock Creek General Baptist church in the early part of the year 1888. She was faithful to her church as long as her health permitted. She was united in marriage to Charles Vinyard on the 13th. day of Feb. 1887. To the union were born six children: Hosea and Edward, now of Oklahome City, Nat of Troy, IL., India Birch of Rosiclare and Howard who was killed in France during the World War, and Bessie Edwards who died in December of 1925. Her husband died Feb. 23, 1926. Besides these, she has one sister, Mrs Maggie Hubbard, of Elgin, Il., and one half brother, Walter Page of Rock Creek, two brothers Adele of East Alton and Hester of Chicago. Also six grandchildren and a host of friends and other relatives who mourn her departure.

Martha J. Hale was born 1 January 1844, died at her son, Robert Hale's of Gibsonia on February 13th 1929, being at the time of her death, 85 years, 1 month and 12 days old. She was the daughter of Henry and Malinda Ginger, being the oldest of several children. She was united in the Holy Bonds of Matrimony to James Hale and to this union was born seven children, all of who survive except one daughter Mrs. Jeff Williams, who preceded her to the Spirit Land. Those living are Alvin Hale, William H. of Shawneetown, Robert H., Gibsonia, Walter H. Chicago, Tommy H. of Lincoln, Illinois and Mrs. Everett Anderson of Kankakee, Illinois. The children were all present at her burial. She leaves 6 children, 33 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, two sisters and two brothers and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her departure. In 1914 she married Jacob Drumm of Elizabethtown and lived with him until his death in 1918. She was later married to Samuel Winters on the 25th May 1920. Her remains were interred in Pleasant Hill Cemetery February 15th by the side of her first husband after a brief but impressive ceremony conducted by Rev. Henry Joyce.
