This account written by a family member was given to me in 1978.
Amanda H. Wolf, daughter of Jacob Wolf and Mildred Meredith, was born Feb 12, 1816 in Kentucky. Amanda was just seven years old when her mother died in 1823 in Norfork, Ar. Mildred, her mother, probably died in child birth as beside her grave is a small infant's grave with a small headstone; and as the headstones are practically touching, it would appear that the infant was buried close beside. In 1833 Amanda married Azariah Tinnin, son of Hugh Tinnin and Elizabeth Harris. Unfortunately because of a fire in the Izard County court house, today there is no record of their marriage, however, their oldest child, Catherine, was born in 1834. Azariah was born 18 Dec 1816 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The Tinnin family moved soon afterwards to Lawrence County and Izard County, AR where Hugh Tinnin was a member of the State Legislature, along with Jacob Wolf, Amanda's father. Hugh, Azariah's father, was a member of the House of Representatives and he signed the Commendation for Territorial Secretary William S. Fulton in 1833 along with Jacob Wolf. In 1827 Hugh Tinnin had the mail route from Batesville to Izard Court House, which would have been the home of Wolf, and in 1831 he was also a County Magistrate of Izard County. Hugh died in 1840. It is no wonder that Hugh's son married Jacob Wolf's daughter. Amanda was almost a year older than Azariah. Her middle initial, H., in all probability stood for "Hedrick". They stayed in Mt. Home where they had Catherine b. 1834; Jacob Wolf b. 1841, Elizabeth b. 1842, Oseanna b. 1846, Sarah b. 1849, Lemuel B. b. 1856, and William H. b., 1858. Their son, Jacob Wolf Tinnin, served in the Civil War along with J.M. Wolf (This refers to the son of William M. Wolf, Amanda's older brother or the son of George Washington Wolf, Amanda's older brother - both of her brothers has sons that would have the initials of J. M. who served), and collected his pension in Texas with J.M. Wolf making a deposition in his behalf. They were both in Company I., 14th Arkansas volunteer Infantry and served from Mt. Home.  Azariah died December 18 or 19, 1869 in Salado, Texas, and is buried in the old Salado Cemetery, on top of the hill under the largest tree. He was an active member of the Masons and the Secretary of an early Masonic Lodge in Arkansas established near Norfork or Plesant Run in 1860. this may be the Adams Lodge in reference also. The books existed in 1984 ( this note was added to the test in hand).  Amanda died July 12, 1882 and is buried in Morgan, Bosque Co., TX. She is buried next to her son, Jacob Wolf Tinnin and his wife, Mary Catherine. Next to Amanda is "Little Johnny Wolf, 15years old:, apparently a relative. His death date is 16 Oct 1893 which is 11 years after her death. Perhaps her son Jacob Wolf Tinnin was still alive and Johnny's parents were visiting them. Johnny's parents, George Washington and Laura Frances Wolf, lived in Howard County or at least that is where George is buried and that is where Laura was living when she applied for the Civil War Pension. George was the son of William M. Wolf and his wife Pheobe Kellough Wolf.  However, Geroge and Laura did live in Erath County at one time so perhaps they were living close by and just wanted to bury Johnny by relatives.
