Meghan&Dani's Hairy Bootlegs

*************************************************
We are temporarily not trading with anyone. We just moved to Chicago and need some time to unpack and settle into our new place. I'll take this message down when we're ready to trade again. If you're looking for things that we have you may try these other Great Traders for the boot you want. Thanks.
*************************************************

We have a few trading rules that we'd like you to know before you continue.

1.
WE DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE SELL ANY OF THESE BOOTLEGS AND WE EXPECT THE SAME OF YOU. It rips off the artists and ruins our experience. If we find out that you have sold something that we've traded with you, we will tell everyone we know and will try to make your life hell.

2.
We only make even trades (i.e. CD for CD). Unfortunately, as much as we would like to help out new traders, we are too busy to do Blanks and Postage (B&P) trades.

3.
We are only interested in CD or MD trades. No tapes. We've become music snobs and can't stand tape hiss. We also are NOT interested in boots made from MP3 sources. We can tell the difference and aren't interested. If that's all you have to offer, don't bother. Along those same lines, we are not interested in shows that are NOT digitally recorded, even if they are transferred to CD (it's still going to have that annoying tape hiss that we hate so much). For information on how we rate boots or what we're looking for quality wise go here.

4.
Please use high quality media. NO Maxell or Memorex.

5.
Please, if at all possible, send US Postal Service Priority Mail. It costs like $3.50 and the package gets here in 2-3 days. We will send USPS Priority and we'd like the same of you.

6.
Cases or no cases, artwork or no artwork is fine. We sometimes send artwork, when we have time to make it, and usually we send slim cases or reuse the sleeves that people send us. We, however, do want setlists, either sent with the shows or sent in an email. So, in other words, we're flexible.

7.
Please do not write on the CD. I prefer that you either write on the sleeve, or put a post-it note on the sleeve. Please do not put the post-it note directly on the CD though - a friend had the glue from the post-it note literally eat up the data part of the disc.

8.
Finally, we are most interested in trading for high quality recording of folkie-singer-songwriters.
Artists of most interest currently are: Tegan & Sara, Edie Carey, Rose Polenzani, Erin McKeown, Beth Amsel, Voices on the Verge, Lori McKenna, Dave Carter and Tracy Grammer, or any extremely hip 80's stuff. Yes, we have eclectic tastes, so even if you don't have any of these artists - and agree to the rules above - send us an email. We'll probably be able to work something out!

If you've made it this far I assume that you're in agreement with our "rules", so here's our list of artists.
