Welcome. We've got some good and bad news.
GOOD NEWS : We've moved to CHICAGO, and we're loving every minute!
BAD NEWS : We're no long hosting house concerts in the Indianapolis area. And, we're not sure whether we will be hosting shows here in our new place, but if we do we'll be sure to have a site with all the pertinent information. HELPFUL INFORMATION FOR ARTISTS HOPING TO BOOK A GIG IN INDIANAPOLIS: There are several places that are hosting shows for new & upcoming artists in Indy right now. We suggest that you contact them. Details: Nora is super nice and very into folk music. She's hosted tons of up and coming folky artists. The coffeehouse is small and intimate. Be nice to Nora... Details: Debbie and the gang run an excellent house concert series. It's an awesome set-up. They always have a great turnout... and they're really, really nice. I don't know if they are booking anymore shows. There was talk of exiting the house concert scene when last I spoke with Debbie. Details: I've been to only one show at this house, but it was excellent. Mary Margaret has hosted over a dozen shows for mostly travelling folk singer-songwriters. I'd visit her website or send her an email to learn more.RADIO RADIO

Details: This is an amazing bar with a fantastic stage. I don't know what kind of music they normally book... I have a feeling that it's more alternative, punk-ish... but they have hosted at least one folk-type group. They host poetry slams as well, so they are A-OK with me. Check them out.
