Marriage of Miss Dorothy Gilbert to William Anderson Announced

" The marriage of Miss Nancy Chester Sustare, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Beverly Townsend Sustare, and Robert William Sutton, son of Porter
Odry Sutton and the late Mrs. Margaret Lorin Sutton, took place Saturday
afternoon at the home of the bride's parents on Cambridge Crescent. The
ceremony was performed before an improvised altar of palms and magnolia
blossoms, by the Rev. J. B. Sawyer, pastor of Larchmont Baptist church,
and was witnessed only by member of the immediate families.
The bride entered with her father, by whom she was given in marriage.
She wore an afternoon dress of soft gray, with accessories of white, and
her flowers were a corsage of gardenias and valley lilies.
Miss Laura Mae Powers, of Raleigh, N. C. was maid of honor, and only
attendant. She wore a dress of ashes of roses, with leghorn hat, and accessories
of white. Here flowers were a corsage of pink rose buds and blue forget-me-nots.
The bridegroom had as his best man his brother, James Thomas Sutton.
A small reception was held, after which Mr. and Mrs. Sutton left for
a short wedding trip. Upon their return they will be at home at 1348 Magnolia
Avenue, Larchmont."
