A year had passed since Cell's reign of terror.   He was killed in the Cell games, and the world was at peace.   On a dark night in a place called Singing Mountain, Cell was seen alive and well.   He had been revived by an angry spirit who wanted revenge for it's confinement withnin the depths of the mountain.

Cell finds himself stuck on the mountain, and surrounded by the inhabitents who are willing to help him escape the spirt's wrath.   Singing Mountain is a land time forgot, ruled by gigantic wolves and the priestesses that worship them.   Their way of life hardly changed since the life god, the Shishi Gami, died six thousand years ago.

A young priestess, San Masquerade, volenteers to take Cell under her wing as he hides from the spirit.   However, the two begin a chain of events that lead to war, romance, revenge, and a story of history that was destined to repeat itself.
