What’s the Minimum I could do that would make the Maximum Contribution to Protecting the Environment?

There are oomans who aren’t in the slightest bit interested in environmental issues but would be willing to do just one thing to help the environment if, for minimum effort and inconvenience, they could make a critical contribution to combating global burning and creating sustainability. If people want to do one fundamental thing that will help to:

* diminish global poverty;

* dramatically reduce the gargantuan welfare benefit subsidies being paid out to wealthy pharmers;

* undermine the privileges of the over-privileged, land-owning, elites in brutland and the rest of the world;

* undermine the political power wielded by corrupt ruling elites around the world;

* dramatically reduce the prospects of oomans’ catching lethal diseases - virtually all ooman diseases originate from Animals - bse and sars being only the latest;

* reduce deforestation;

* enable the Earth to Reforest itself;

* dramatically reduce the manufacture of pesticides;

* save millions of poor people who are being poisoned by the pesticides they are spray on crops being grown to feed livestock Animals around the Earth;

* dramatically reduce the immiserization of the poor who are having their land stolen from them by large landowners who want more pastureland to produce a luxury item for the world’s rich;

* increase the scale of Wilderness areas so that Wildlife could recover from the decimation oomans have inflicted on them;

* increase the prospects for the survival of endangered species;

* reduce the pain and suffering which oomans inflict on other species who have a far greater justification than oomans for surviving on Earth; and, finally,

* dramatically reduce the destabilization of the climate and the destruction of the Earth’s life support system;

then give up eating putrescent corpses.
