Well I finally broke down and went to a new restaurant. Which for me is a fairly big thing. With eating out I'm sorta in the frame of mind if it's not broke why fix it. So I pretty much eat at the same places over and over again. Arn't I a dull girl =P Actually I just don't get out to eat much, hard with kids sometimes. So if I go I want to know the food is going to be good. Anyways for ooohhh... months now people have been practically bombarding me with the praises of this one restaurant. So finally my friend Katie, (no longer able to stand what I was missing...lol) dragged me down there. She's such a lovable goofball. The Thai House was nothing like I expected. Just a little tiny niche downtown. We sat at this cute little table by the window, watched the world go by. For an appitizer we split an order of their egg rolls. Which are about the yummiest egg rolls I've ever had. They are kinda crispy on the outside. And they are served with this sauce that, well, I can't really discribe. It's like nothing I've ever had before, but it was very good. For the main course I ordered some peanut chicken with spinach and sticky rice. And oh my gosh......it was SO good. The kind of good that makes you mouth tingle. Katie had some sort of beef dish. Which was also good, but not nearly as wonderful as my food. Katie didn't like mine. She has this thing against peanuts. "Whatever weird-o" (Brin smiles Katies way) Anyways I'm glad I finally went. Especially since I'm now in love with that chicken dish. So Jackie, Matt, and of course Katie dear, you were right. The food  is great. (yummy yummy yummmm) Why did I ever doubt you.....lol =)
Now that it's gorgous outside the days seem to be flying by. Where does all the time go in the summer I wonder. We have light almost 24-7 and still there never seems to be enough time. I have yet to go to a lake or ever laid out in the sun this summer. I even have my toenails all ready for it (hee-hee) I'm sure it's some long suppressed girly thing. But I love painting them during the summer. So my feet look extra cute in sandles with my groovy painted toenails and my toe rings. I know it's kinda silly and friolous, but so. I'm entitled to be so ever once in awhile. =) The color I have on now is really neat. My girlfriend Sarah lent it to me. It's a color change kind. Where when my feet are hot it turns pink and when they are cold it turns purple. I never even knew such a thing existed till she brough it to show me. So I'm all set at a moments notice to hit the beach, if I only had the time to do so. I must say working during the summer months kinda bites. I'm thinking there should be some kind of law against it =) Wouldn't that be lovely.....lol.
