I'm in love.......sssshhhh don't tell me hubby....lol, with a laptop. A guy Shawn works with has this little compaq. Which he broke, well not really. It actually caught a yucky virus. Anyways it was completly locked up and totally worthless. So Shawn offered to wipe it clean (something he's very good at) and try to fix it. Well it works. I am at the moment writing this entry proped up with pillows, laptop on my knees, from my bed....hee-hee. I'll be nice and not tell you what I'm not wearing ;) (clothes, ok you didn't hear that from me), especially since this laptop is not mine....yet (evil little grin) It's just so wonderfully decadent, I love it. I've gotta get me one. I could even live without a new desktop for awhile if I could get one of these. This is so much better then sitting in that cold office on my cold, (not as comfy) office chair. I'm tickled pink, you have no idea. The weird thing is I never wanted one of these before. I had looked at them in the stores and they never thrilled me. I just kinda shrugged my shoulders at the whole idea. Of course I never had one in my hot little hands before. I could bring it outside to tan, the lake, school, long trips to Anchorage, to work. Goodness the endless possiblities. Of course there's always the chance that I would then become a bigger computer nerd then I already am.But that's a whole different subject for another entry.
The spring rains have started. I love the way rain makes the world smell so new and clean. I love the way that smell makes me feel. Almost invincible or childlike in away. Like I need to twirl and skip and laugh and sing. Of course now being a certified adult now that I'm no longer 25. Yes, yes I actually got my grown up diploma in the mail the other day.....hee-hee. (wouldn't that be a weird thing)Then I come inside from the rain and it sends other thoughts into my mind. Like why is my roof leaking. Grrrrr....stupid leak. It's right in my office and first it was just in the doorway. But now it's moving down the screws in the ceiling. The water is moving closer and closer to my computer. I have pans, buckets, and towels everywhere. If the rain doesn't stop soon my office is just gonna float away. Or at the very least fry the crap out of somebody when the water hits something electrical. As soon as it stops I'll have to send Shawn up to check it out. I think he may have dinked something this winter while snow shoveling.
Well I think that's it for me for now. If I don't get out of bed now, I may just stay here all day. Life is good =)
