Well my birthday has come and gone. I must say I was very touched and quite blown away by all the warm b-day wishes I got from everyone. It really made me happy, ment alot. So I'd just like to say thanks again (big hugs to all around) Now being 26 I don't really feel any different. Then again you never do. That's how age sneaks up on you.....lol. It's like that old frog in the pan story. The water just keeps getting hotter and hotter, that dumb frog never jumps out. Ok so maybe that's not quite the right analogy but still you get my drift, right? =) Anyways I had a very nice birthday. I didn't want anything fancy, trying to save money yeah know =P. He did get me roses however, really beautiful pink ones. The same color as the first ones he ever got me aaahh sweet guy. All I really wanted was a day off from work. Which they nicely granted. So I got to spend a relaxing day with my children. Then later I went out to the movies with my honey. Got treated to my fav. movie snacks, popcorn and sour patch kids, yummy yummy. We watched Gladiator, my choice. I heard the lead was hunky ;) and he was....lol. So I enjoyed the movie even more. Even if it was a bit on the gory side in parts. His total love for his family, well, girls fall for that kind of stuff =) I will definitely be getting it when it comes out on dvd. Afterwards we when out and got drinks. Which we both got carded for. I guess that should be an ego boost in the arm but still. I'm 26, Shawns 31, we've got to be past the "we look under 21" stage by now. It was just good we both had them on us. A couple of years ago I went to go watch a movie with my brothers. I wasn't driving and so I didn't bring my I.D. They wouldn't let me into the movie because it was R-rated. They let my brother in, who are both younger then me by two and four years. They didn't ever card them......grrrrrr. Ok enough of the sob stories =) and to end the other one.... I did have the yummiest pina coladas, got a little tipsy, hee-hee (just the way Shawn likes me....lol) and went to bed. =)
On a sad (really stupid of me) note, right before I started writing this entry I accidently erased the one for the 6th of May. I'm so bummed, one of the downfalls of this program is once the files gone it's gone. There's no trash to dig it out of. If I was smart I'd have my files backed up on disk. (Brin shakes her head at herself) To late now = ( |
