Preparation of TS, evaluation of offers, detail engineering, approval
of fabrication drawings and site visit for the following projects.
- Stock House and Inter Plant Pipelines of M/s Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited at Dubri. (The bunkers of
stock house and pipelines trestles were designed by self developed
software. )
- Coke Oven Battery and
Coal Handling Plant of M/s
Konark Met Coke Ltd at Dubri.
- Rehabilitation Scheme for Synthetic
Rutile Plant at IRE-OSCOM, Chatrapur. ( The plant was visited and
assessed the condition of structures was assessed, and based on the
observations and site reading, the detail stiffening/replacement
schemes of different component of structures were prepared.)

I
was assigned the task of supervision of erection and fabrication work
under the scope of our sub contractor M/s Fenner, who was lagging at all
fronts. I brought the turn around in their performance by convincing
Fenner's Project Manager that they would not be in red if they complete
the job in given time frame. And the priority route was commissioned
timely.

Structures at IRE-Chatrapur - Cause and Remedy" at 6th National
Congress on Corrosion at Calcutta in 1995 based on the report, which I
prepared for QIT/Hatch associates for their techno-economics analysis of
the above plant.
