I am Binay Kumar Pandey, an IIT Delhi Graduate (1989-Civil Batch) and working for MECON Ltd, Ranchi in its Structural
Section. I have executed structural works for a number of prestigious projects for Private
sectors as well as Public Sector Companies in India, such as India Govt Mint at
Hyderabad, Llyods Steel at Wardha, Seamless Tube Plant at Nasik, Iron and
Steel Complex of Neelachal Ispat Neegam and Coke Oven Battery Complex of
Konark Metcoke Ltd at Kalinga Nagar Duburi, External Coal Handling System
at North Chennai for TNEB. I have also done
the Rehabilitation Study for the Synthetic Rutile Plant of Indian
Rare Earths at IRE, Chatrapur as part Project of Hatch Associate, Canada
and did the detail engineering for the same. Trained in networking
programming at CICC-AOTS Japan by Hitachi Ltd..

Classics and Good Hindi and English Literatures
I am an avid reader of good books particularly short stories.
My all time favourite is
Premchand, the master story teller of India. Oscar Wilde, Ruskin Bond,
Earnest Hemingway, VS Naipaul, Mulk Raj Anand, RK Narain, Jhumpa Lahiri, Sharat Chand, Tagore,
Kashyap (Bhojpuri),
Sudarshan and Yashpal are also very good writer. Mansarovar, Discovery of
India, Gone with Wind, Disgrace, Interpreter of Maladies, Pride and
Prejudice, Arms and the Man, Loha Singh (Bhojpuri).. these are the books
which one should always read as I have got immense pleasure reading them. Special Mention for 'The
Blue Bed Spread' by Raj Kamal Jha - an IITian
( KGP ), It is a great novel. I am very fond of Hindi
and English poems.
