Text of  My Speech on 24/02/2004
Course : OSW

Respected GM of CICC, Staff of CICC & My Dear Friends.

Japan has always been a very fascinating country for me since my childhood and my joy knew no bounds when I was informed by Computer Society of India about my selection. My childhood dream came true when I landed at dawn time in Narita Airport in Land of Rising Sun.

Later at YKC, the one week orientation program was very enjoyable including our visit to Waseda Univesity & Yokohama Walk Rally. Ms Kishi San & Ms Mita San worked very hard to make program successful. Our Sincere Thanks to them.

The Training program at CICC has been very exciting throughout 4 weeks and we enjoyed the NETCOM EXPO at ........... whatever way we could. The daily commuting in the packed train, Laden with whatever woolen clothes we brought here, braving through the chilled cold , struggling through the departmental store to get suitable sandwiches and the shopping spree on each day, have left a permanent imprint on our mind. None of us are going to forget this in our life.

Let me take this opportunity to convey our sincere thanks on behalf of all the participants to CICC & AOTS staff. Our special thanks to Mr Nagnuma, Ms Kawabata & Ms Yoko, who have always been cordial, helpful & forthcoming. I must say that CICC possesses a very conducive atmosphere for conducting such training programs. I very sincerely praise the effort & hard work of our Instructor Mr Rudi Lomanto & ..........., their deep knowledge of OSS has been nicely unfolded in very systematic way during our 4 weeks of training program. I wish all the success to Hitachi Ltd for their OSS movement & OSS is going to be popular worldwide in time to come.

At Last I thank my loving colleagues from different country, who all very brilliant in their own field and I would like to end my Speech with this poem.

Poem

We will not forget .....

As the Bubble of Fun burst tomorrow,
an empty passion will haunt our souls.

As Love & affection evaporates tomorrow,
A seed of global brotherhood will germinate in us.

As the rattling of trains stops from tomorrow,
"Sangyo Shinko Center" announcement will linger with us.

As the shivering cold stops blowing tomorrow,
The cloud mount Fuji will be always hovering on us.

As we leave the 'Land of Rising Sun' tomorrow,
A little bit of 'Arigato Gozaimas' will remain forever with us.

Thank you,
Domo Arigato..
