Here are some more tips for taking scenic photographs:
Hold still - Use a tripod, sit down on a rock, or brace yourself against a tree.
Lighting - For professional results, shoot when the pros do: just after sunrise or before sunset. At both times the sun is low in the sky and heightens shapes and textures.
Framing - Look for a natural frame in the picture.
