Squad 3 - Handles our Area!Neighborhood Crime Watch UpdateIt’s 5:10 am, still dark outside; you open your front door to put your garbage out for your Friday pick-up. Just as you place you bag on the ground, you look up, notice movement at your neighbor’s home. To your amazement, you notice in the dark, 2 individuals hovering near your neighbors truck door – individuals who you have never seen before – tools near the truck – WHAT DO YOU DO? Chairperson (Nancy Blair), Co-Chairperson, and Communication Leader There must be 3 members on the Sheriff's Watch. With the size of our subdivision we need to have approximately 25% participation from the homeowners. (approximately 2-5 per street). We must have 1 Annual General Membership Meeting with the Deputy, Bi-Annual Committee Meeting with the Deputy and a Monthly Practice Session. Once the plan is in place, not much time is needed to keep it active and working.
No Active Watch - No Signs will be posted.
Deputy Heather Thompson's number is 582-5616 and she is available 8-4PM. She is with the Crime Prevention Unit. She encourages us to call. She will work with us in setting up our Crime Watch for the neighborhood. Crime

VIALS OF LIFE – I have secured these from the American Red Cross. They look like a pill container and inside you place information such as your name, address, date of birth, your primary medical problems, your medications, current medical conditions etc. You place the container in your refrigerator and an orange sticker goes on the outside of your refrigerator. This will alert medical personnel to vital information, in case of an emergency. We will have these at our December 2004 Membership Meeting, so if you would like one, please come to the meeting. If you are unable to attend the meeting, please contact me and I will see that your receive one.
REMEMBER - BE AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS - KEEP HOMES AND CARS LOCKED AT ALL TIMES - Be Safe!
