They are singing the canticles of the angels with lips
still sullied with earth.

The Avalonian Catholic Church: Asking the Question
Rise, Glaston, with Golden Beams!
from a song, copyright 2001 Jon Ryner
Great Avalon will rise again,
like an island ever-new.
Her Spirit will shower awen
upon her servants true.
Innocents and wisest men
will the same become then.
The earth will rise
to touch the vast bright sky.
The phoenix high will fly.
An Introduction to Our Work
Then ye grass shal be as glasse
And ye schal see ye mysterie.
Deepe downe hit lyes ffrom pryinge eies,
and safelie slepes, while vigil
kepes ye Company.
(Howe doe) ye dry bonys stir and shake,
and eche to eche hys fellowe seekes.
Soone comes agayne which once hath bene,
and Glastonys glory shal be seene.
Our origins stretch back through the misty millenia to the ancient legendary land of Avalon. We seek to awaken its magical workings for the benefit of humankind. We seek to merge the ancient and the modern, the Pagan and the Christian, the simple and the profound. We believe that the most important relics of Glastonbury are not the body parts of dead saints, but the practices of those saints, and the spoils of the spiritual realms. This was affirmed by the monks which gave messages to Frederick Bligh Bond almost a century ago. We believe that many of the predictions they made that have seemed to be unfulfilled will be fulfilled by this Great Work which we have undertaken.
Since there is much confusion from several writers about the nature of the mysteries of Glastonbury Abbey, it would be good to quote some of the material received by Bond's associate, John Alleyne, and recorded by Bond.
From Sitting XXIX, 20th April, 1908.
". . . Influence man, and that which was before decreed shall aid you and they who are around you shall feel your influence and ours.
"In very truth it was a goodly church and it is said that ye of your time shall know what works we did pro gloria Dei. (for the glory of God, ed.)
"We were mistaken in some things--all men are--but the thought that made the great church of Glaston was not bounded by ye mind and that thought must live and prevail.
"Move, work, and unceasingly persist, and in time there will be a place for what once was and ye shall know its building yet again as they were wont to be. The lesser works first: and then cometh one who will build the great church--a son of Glaston from beyond the sea. Even now he waits and watches. We wait and watch and hope with the knowledge that comes to men on the other side. The church is always the church, and in the great schema of the world, we come soon and our instrument Glaston shall find a mighty place. . . . Thus Johannes saith."
It should be noted that the entities believed most firmly that there was a greater work to come than theirs. In another session, it is stressed that the physical measurements, made so much of by some authors, were also rather inconsequential.
Truly puzzling at first glance is the reference to the mysterious "son of Glaston". Which sea is referred to, and much more importantly, was this Great Work truly accomplished during the generation in question? There is doubt, for several reasons, which we will examine on this page at a later time.
The Original Glastonbury
It does not surprise us that many who search for the deepest ancient wisdom at Glaston in Somerset find it not, for that locale of ecclesiastical ruins is only a shadow of the true original Glastonbury, located in Wales. Ask yourself why so many names associated with a place in Somerset should have Welsh names; indeed, why should a Welsh god (Gwynn ap Nudd) reside there? Why did the dead monks make allusions to Bond that they had sinned in some kind of a corporate way? And why do the Welsh genealogies all agree that the Welsh royalty could claim Jesus in their bloodline?
This does not mean there is no value in looking to Somerset. Much wisdom is there: it is, after all, the desmaines (sp?) of Stonehenge! But for the truth of many of these things, we must look to Wales. (We'll post more on this later as we have time.)
Although a little of our founding bishop's training and some of his lineage derived from The New Order of Glastonbury, we have long since separated ourselves from the sophomoric silliness which pervades that crime-ridden and despotic see. We have since greatly surpassed that dwindling little group in our knowledge of many hidden things, which we will soon be revealing on these very Webpages. Ever beware, seeker, of those who claim to be privy to 'ancient wisdom teachings', yet have not done the study or received any of the esoteric successions or those who stress their connections to the lore of Glaston, yet have not even begun to fathom its wondrous secrets!

Did you know:
Read on to learn more!o Jesus was not born on Christmas and that early Church Fathers condemned those who said he was as heretics? "How much the date of the festival depended upon the pagan Brumalia (December 25th) following the Saturnalia (December 17th-24th), and celebrating the shortest day of the year and the 'new sun'...cannot be accurately determined. The pagan Saturnalia and Brumalia were too deeply entrenched in popular custom to be set aside by Christian influence...The pagan festival with its riot and merrymaking was so popular that Christians were glad of an excuse to continue its celebration with little change in spirit and in manner. Christian preachers of the West and the Near East protested against the unseemly frovolity with which Christ's birthday was celebrated, while Christians of Mesopotamia accused their Western brethren of idolatry and sun worship for adopting as Christian this pagan festival." (Emphasis ours)
o There were Christians before Jesus was born?
o The best evidence is that Jesus was not crucified on a cross and that there nails were not driven through his hands, thus proving so-called "stigmatics" frauds and revealing startling facts about the origins of Christianity?
o The overwhelming number of books claiming that Jesus was a pagan Mystery cult initiate are based on a fundamental and obvious error, often made by the world's foremost scholars?
o The Bible states repeatedly that Jesus is not as important or as powerful as almighty God?
o Jesus did not preach an eternal punishment by hellfire, nor did many early Christian Fathers of the Church?
o Why both the exoteric Christians and the Gnostics are wrong about Jesus and the Truth of the Faith of the Church, as evidenced by their own doctrines and praxes?
o That large statues of pagan deities were placed in prominant places in Christian churches?
o How your "elected" officials are trying to main and kill you and what their real agenda is? How are the mainstream churches working with them to promote Satan's plan for the New World Order?
o How you can start saving a large percentage of your annual income to advance your financial status?
o Most modern-day Christo-Pagans have missed some key clues to the great puzzle and how you can use these as keys to unlock doors to untold abundance and prosperity in your life?
o Why we're the only apostolic church on the face of the earth who will tell you the truth about these things?
Freeing the Waters: Streams of Living Water
Humanity is desperately reaching out for Truth which will bring real and lasting happiness, and in the process is wrestling with the ever-present problem of the flesh verses the spirit. While our apostolic Church maintains many of the traditions of the exoteric Western Church, we are also receive much wisdom and guidance from a number of different esoteric streams which feed our Tradition, some of which are greatly neglected by society (church, state and people) at large.. These same streams enlightened our predecessors in the esoteric Church centuries ago. It should be stressed, however, that these streams often mingle, much as the two waters of Glaston. These streams have already reviewed the problem we have mentioned and its associated ones for centuries. Each, however, has also participated in the formation of the Church Catholic.
