Sirens is an international theatre company, set up in early 1995 by two talented and dynamic actor-directors, Irene Theotokatou and Shirin Youssefian. In 1997 they welcomed a new member, British performer Cassi Moghan.

Sirens is dedicated to producing high quality English and bilingual theatre in Greece. Drawing on the richness and diversity of cultures and theatrical experience of its company members, Sirens creates a unique and compelling performance style.

Following the success of their 1996 production of Athol Fugard's THE ISLAND, Sirens once again tackles a challenging and emotive issue in their new play. AMAZONS is a moving, passionate and strangely comic exploration of the issues surrounding Women and Breast Cancer. It aims to educate and empower women as well as raise general awareness of a disease that is threatening to reach epidemic proportions that surpass those of a much more high-profile disease AIDS.
