	April Photos! 04/04/2001, Wednesday - Spy Games (age: 4 years, 4 months, 16 days) I was playing a "spy" game with the kids. They were deciding whether I was a good guy or a bad guy. I told them I saw a bad guy around the corner. They ran off and I yelled "Ah, ha. I sent you on a wild goose chase. Christopher heard and ran up to Nicole saying, "Nicole, Daddy said we're chasing a goose!" Christopher gets pretty impatient when we're gathering to eat at the table. Lately he has taken to saying, "Shall we pray!" Which really means Let's get started already. 04/09/2001, Monday - New Bike (age: 4 years, 4 months, 20 days) Christopher's getting bigger. His pre-school recently had an auction and there was a bicycle donated, so we bid on it and got it. Now Christopher has a much larger bike that he is enjoying very much. 04/30/2001, Monday - Swimming, Applauding Daddy (age: 4 years, 5 months, 11 days) We have Christopher scheduled for swimming lessons in a few weeks. He remembers last year's lessons, so he tells us he already knows how to swim and doesn't need any further lessons. This from a boy who hates to let me rinse his hair in the shower. We've let him know he's going anyway. A week ago Christopher helped me wash my car. He helped for a while and then ran off to play while I finished up. I began whistling and, after a while, Christopher came running out onto the driveway with a big smile on his face. He was clapping and said, "I really like your whistling, Daddy." Boy, did that make my day. I'll add these to a new May journal when I get a chance: 05/07/2001, Monday - Going to Paradise. Building with Legos (age: 4 years, 5 months, 18 days) I was putting Christopher to bed the other nigh when he asked, "Daddy, can I go to paradise with you?" He's been listening to his Easter stories, I can tell. Christopher has really been enjoying playing with Legos lately. He has been collecting "Lego Racer" cars and talks about them all the time. He even made Tina a special contraption out of Legos. We don't really know what it is, but it's kind of cool. 05/10/2001, Thursday - Remember Me (age: 4 years, 5 months, 21 days) I was getting ready for work very early this morning. Christopher woke up and took my spot in bed next to Tina. He was awake, so I went over to give him hugs good-bye. He hugged me, gave me a big kiss on my cheek and said, "Remember me by this kiss." I have no idea where he got that phrase, but it really touched me.

	Christopher seems to enjoy school and has many friends there. One of his favorite activities at school is riding the trikes and other ride on toys in the "Big Room".
	Christopher's Favorites:
	Favorite Foods:   Egg, Cheese & Ham (scrambled omelet). Eggs and Toast mixed up. Corn dogs. Cheese Pizza. Bread & Jelly (no butter) Doesn't really like milk any more. Tina buys calcium fortified juice. Is really into bananas now. peanut butter Ritz crackers. Favorite Movies-T.V./Characters: *New* Bob the Builder (Nickelodeon). Thomas the Tank Engine "Clifford". PBS has a new show about the giant red dog. It's a big hit with both kids. "Dragon Tales" on PBS is very popular. Christopher and Nicole hold hands while "going" to Dragon Land. Very cute Toy Story 2: Buzz Light Year. He's really enjoying both the movie and the Buzz toys. He also got Buzz Light Year tennis shoes. He also now has a new Woody doll (see picture right) that he really likes. Also likes most Disney preschool shows (Out of the Box, Rollie Pollie Ollie, Bear in the Big Blue House, etc.) Likes animal shows (Zoobomafoo, Kratts Creatures, Amazing Animals, etc.) . Favorite Activities: Computer games (Lego Racers, Frogger, Buzz Lightyear & Buzz Lightyear of Star Command) Loves to build with real Legos now. Loves Hot Wheels cars. He can "read" the logo so he knows which ones are the real thing. Favorite Color: "Blue is my best"
