Information about SMK Seafield

The name of my school is Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Seafield (Seafield High School). It was name Seafield after the Seafield Plantation that once stood here. The address to it is at Jln. USJ 2/5 , UEP Subang Jaya. My school is located in USJ 2 and it is at the center of Subang Jaya . Sekolah Kebangsaan Serdang Jaya is located next to the school's field.

My school consist of three four stories blocks , a double story block , a canteen and an agricultural workshop (bengkel pertanian) .The office , the discipline room (bilik Hal-Ekwal-Pelajar) , surau , health room , book shop and cooperative is located in block B while the library , staffroom ,counseling room , 'Bestari' mathematical room and APD room is located in block A. Science and computer lab is located in block C. Block D however (the double story building) , houses the Kemahiran Hidup woodwork , pipes and electrical workshop and cooking and sewing facilities.

The school canteen serves various kind of foods ranging from nasi lemak to roti canai to burger. The food is equivalent to any cafeteria in town , beating other school canteens hands down.

...you realized that the school entrance has changed a lot.
...you can't drive your 10 ton modified truck under the arch.
...there's barb wire on the south , east and southwest section of the perimeter fence.
...you're wondering why the bicycle shade was NEVER upgraded.
...you can't take a picture of Block A like it was in Passage Through Time 1 anymore.
...you can find three Hentian Za'bas of the same name.
...every garden and venue to relax and unwind has bombastic names.
...you realized that this school has its own vision and mission.
...the school has its very own 'Tonggak Dua Belas' to challenge MPSJ's Tonggak Sepuluh.
...the school owns a crystal ball with the education minister's signature on it.
...the school has one big bunch of trophies at one corner in the meeting room.
...this is the school where the Mobile Internet Unit was launch.
...our Deputy Prime Minister in the year 1999 came here to launch the Mobile Internet Unit.
...there'll be a group from Japan visiting Seafield on 1 August 2001.
...there's only 2 Lower 6 classes in the school in the year 2001.
...the first announcement you'll hear during each assembly everyday is not good morning or good afternoon but the teacher nagging students to line up and shut up.
...it would take an average 10 minutes after the first bell rings in order for all the students to be 99.99999999% in their lines.
...the lines are NEVER straight.
...you realized that the school's PA system is loud enough to be heard during any assembly , even when you're talking.
... the disciplinary teacher give lectures on the morning you have Pendidikan Jasmani (4A/4B 2000).
...only several teachers greets students "Good morning" .
...the toilets are clean and has urinals and WCs similar to those of shopping complexes.
...the students who left Seafield and went on to institutions of higher learning says that there is no other toilet than the one in Seafield.
...the boy's toilet is locked when you need to use it.
...the key to the boy's toilet is not in the HEM room but somewhere all over Seafield or was hijacked by someone (it's possible).
...you noticed that the female's teachers toilet has tiles similar to those of a hotel.
...you can find an official female changing room but no changing room for boys. ( Sexism )
...you feel like you're buying stuff from a cinema booth at the cooperative.
...the school sells key chains , caps and brooch which has the school badge on it.
...you can utilized water fountains that doesn't sprinkle its triple filtered cold water. (You can only drink water by the filling up you cup/bottle/tilting your neck >90' )
...you saw the nature program you watched earlier on Discovery Channel in the canteen's wide screen TV.
...the food you just ate from the cafeteria doesn't remind you about the bad side of canteen food.
...you mistook the teacher's eating room as a luxury cafe.

...your old library card wasn't recognized by the bar code reader.
...you can play a 3 player Half-Life deathmatch using the library's computer (HL works on them and all three computers are connected by LAN)
...the library is now enclosed with no windows and has a separate entrance and exit.
...you would really want to borrow out the red tag books in the red tags books section near the entrance.
...librarians can stay in the library to skip lessons. (Prefects do it)
...the APD room is THE place you want to present your presentation.
...prefects bug you to leave the classroom (Why?) during recess even if they know that NO one would steal anything with their presence.
...the prefects (because they wear GREEN uniform) blend perfectly with the greenery of the gardens.
...the prefects don't need to worry about their school shoe's maintenance because their school shoe is black in color (A cheating advantage).
...the prefects can put their bags in their class in before school starts and they bar you (civilians) from doing the same (Another cheating advantage).
...the prefects' retirement date keeps on changing , with the possibility that the prefects will never retire officially. (Form 5 prefects of 2000 and 2001)
...the prefects can use the HEM room to legally skip a lesson. (Librarians do it)
...the HEM room is used as a quarantine chamber.
...the school forced you to collect your PMR results in SCHOOL UNIFORM or they'll bar you from getting your results. (PMR candidates 99)
...the school purposely tweak the examination timetable to forced its students come everyday .
...canteen day wasn't held in the year 2000 and the year 2001.
...the school has its own talentine night or 'Malam Bakat Seafield' .
...4 Budi 2000 and 5 Budi 2001 are crazy about Oreo.
...the students from form four 2000 moving up to form five 2001 was never streamed.
...there is a website like this dedicated to it. (I'm not so sure if other schools has similar sites)
...students that 'bersembang' , talk , relax or don't bother about their school work (or even shut down) are either the prodigies of Seafield or they know that whatever effort will bear no fruit (in other words , they're either dead good or dead bad).
...Sam Cook's Don't know much about history (a song) greatly implies here.
...this site's webmaster is a typical nerd-class male in 5 Amanah 2001.
...the teachers mustn't go overboard scolding students or risk having their car scratched or tyres deflated. (It's true)
...there's many more upgrades and changes to be done in the future.....wait and see!!!.
