The Pearl of the Orient Award was recently bestowed to the The Surfer's Guide to Good Sailormoon Pages, the web page by SMGuide.

SMguide applied for the Best of Tokyo last Feb 03, and after a Committee Review, she received the Pearl of the Orient Award four days later.

The Theme Reviewer of Palace9939, summed it all:

" Oh, my God! This is a gold mine site! The first of it's kind I've ever seen and I've seen this site before!"

The reviewer further claimed:

"At last something uniquely different in approach that one can look forward to, The Surfer's Guide to Good Sailormoon Pages clearly appears to be an Online Sailormoon Community e-zine that tackles the different aspects of the Sailormoon Online Community itself as well as the show. It has sections similar to a Society Page, plus viewpoints about the trends on the beautiful SM pages today. "Aside from that they give tips and make very detailed reviews about the greatest SM sites on the net. Thus, after a three-day deliberations, the Steering Committee bestowed to the The Surfer's Guide to Good Sailormoon Pages, the web page by SMGuide the first ever instance of giving the Pearl of the Orient Award
