At the Khazan Hall of Justice, things were bad. Captain America was hip deep in alien soldiers. The Tick and the Thing had taken to fighting back to back as alien soldiers seemed to be amassing for another assault. The Human Torch flew through the air, firebombing alien soldiers while at the same time dodging their weapon fire. Warrior had already transformed his hands into twin blasters which he was using to shoot at the alien soldiers with a fury. Were one to notice, it seemed like he was having a bit too much fun.

In outer space, things were getting worse. Superman, Vision and Bicycle Repair Man attempted to reenter Earth's atmosphere as War World spit fighters continued to shoot at them. Superman heard what sounded like a blast detonating on one of it's targets and turned around only to see a passing alien ship land a clean blast on the Vision. Superman turned to aid his friend but was cut off by another wave of ships, trying to separate him from Vision, who it seemed was already being taken inside the hull of one of the spit fighters. Superman tried to reach Vision as an energy beam hit Superman with a sonic beam, which Superman's hearing enhanced to such a level that it knocked the caped avenger out cold.

On earth, heroes from every aspect and walk of life had joined the fight. As several alien spit fighters converged on the small town of Springfield, they noticed the valiant Bartman leading people out into the hills. He was trying to convince a rather large fat man to leave his television behind when the alien ships began their assault. However, as Bartman perceived what appeared to be doom itself, a small ship zoomed in blasting three of the alien spit fighters. Space Man Spiff's small vessel gleamed with triumph as it pulled up at a full 360 degree angel and began chasing the other fighters. But more came in from behind, only to be smashed, crushed, and educed into scrape metal by a red blur that managed to disable thirty more alien ships in less than a minute and reduce a large platoon of ground alien warriors into gravel. Another proud victory for Stupendous Man!

In Latveria, thousands of alien soldiers began amassing for an assault on the city when a voice came from behind them like thunder.
"Hear me, you have dared to trespass on that which belongs to Doom. Surrender or perish."
The alien warriors turned to see a tall figure in armor and a green cape. Behind him were thousands of Latverian citizens armed with pitchforks and thousands more Doombots.

Tokyo was all but rubble as hundreds of massive alien battle cruisers descended upon it, leveling some of the largest buildings in the world like paper. Suddenly, a familiar roar filled the air and a radioactive thunder shot through the air, destroying an alien battle cruiser and several other alien spit fighters. The citizens of Tokyo had never been so happy to see Godzilla in their lives.
