"Blast it!" the previously silent enigmatic shadowed figure exclaimed. "That idiot I hired as a double agent hasn't done anything right! I hired him to kill Jack Tango, and Jack Tango isn't dead! I told him to frame howyadoin for the crime... well, at least that part's going smoothly... for now... I told him to capture Papergirl, and Expletive Deleted, and pulse, and Beldar, and he failed me there! I told him to imprison them, not lock them in a closet!! ARGH!!!" During all of this the figure writhed and swung a clipboard of names overhead, cursing each name successively in their proper order.

The shadowed figure groaned and flopped into an easy chair. "Ah well, I'm no perfect crime boss myself," he sighed. "I thought the PaperMonkies only had four members. I should be cursing myself for neglecting to recheck the roster. I omitted Wolvie*s Girlfriend and FlameStar from the list. I wonder if I missed anyone else?"

"No matter. I must capture all of CBR's leaders if I am to be successful in my... endeavor..."

The figure turned to face the nearest window. He gazed upon the black and clouded atmosphere outside, which was unusual at CBR this time of year. Perhaps it had something to do with that strange magician-type levitating a few yards away, looking around the courtyard, spying into the window of the NEB Board for a look around...
