Sssssmokin' Hot Wheels
1.03.2001 - I'll be taking photos at one of the world's premier auto shows this week. There are going to be some hot new wheels and concept models from all the major car companies. One of them is the "SUT," which stands for Sports Utility Truck, such as the Lincoln Blackwood (pictured left). They're only making a limited number and it's estimated cost is about 60 grand. So if you got the extra BLING BLING, go get it. As soon as I recover from the overpriced admission and parking fees, I'll post some pictures of the new automobiles, so check back within the next week. |

1.08.2001 - I left the auto show drooling with more appreciation for cars, their companies and designers. Judging by the look of some these massive laser light displays and rotating platforms, I wasn't surprised that the premier companies like BMW, Lexus, and Benz went all out with their appearance. While the more mainstream Honda and Toyota were satisfied in showing off their current (yawn) models, others were determined to "ooh and ahh" the crowd.
Nissan unveiled a new space-like vehicle simplely dubbed the "Z Concept" (pictured left). Its orange color definitely stood out from the showroom floor however I was disappointed that they didn't allow people to see the inside and seating. Dodge proudly showcased its "MaxxCab" concept (pictured below), a sleek combo of a spacious 4-door SUV with the power and size of a pick-up truck. Cadallic showed off its own "IMAJ" concept car, which looks like it was molded from a missile and can break the sound barrier in 5 seconds flat. |
