Places of Interest

Okay here I am going to give you a brief listing of places of considerable note while you are staying in good ol' Icemule. These are a must to know, as they are very useful. I will also give directions to reach each the places mentioned. So let's get started.


Town Center - Also know as TC , this is a place to come and rest , be healed by Empaths, and gods willing find a raiser for your dragged corpsicle(tm), as well as a place to come a chit chat , gossip and just mingle with friends. From here all directions are given. TC is more or less the Home base of all adventures.

[Note: Empath healing is a service, not a right. Please remember to tip your empath for the healing they give. They are not as good a hunter as most others, and some never hunt at all due to the wounds and scars they always carry. And do not pester a empath for service, they need to heal down their wounds once in a while to keep from dying themselves. So remember be courteous, and ask nicely.]


First Elanthia Bank of Icemule Trace - Yep , you guessed it. This is the main hub of commerce, complete with hulking guards at the door and beady-eyed tellers. The bank takes you silver and holds them in a account, which all in all is a good idea with the amount of pick pockets running around , never know if your safe. They take silver coins and Icemule Promissory notes. Any other lands note must be exchanged before you can deposit them in the bank.

To get there from TC: 1 block east , Go Archway or Bank

      To deposit silvers: DEPOSIT {amount}

      To deposit a bank note: DEPOSIT NOTE

      To check your balance: CHECK BALANCE

      To withdraw silvers: WITHDRAW {amount} [SILVERS | NOTE]


Icemule Trace Exchange - This small Currency exchange booth is located inside the bank. And is where you go to exchange notes from Wehnimer's landing, Solhaven or Teras Isle into Icemule currency, which can be deposited into the bank for silvers, the universal accepted coinage.

To get there from TC: 1 block east, Go Archway or bank , go booth

     Rate of Exchange:

Wehnimer's Landing notes                           .5% value plus 10 silvers

Grand Borthuum Mining Company Scrip         1% value plus 10 silvers

Vornavis Promissory Note                              5% value plus 5 silvers


Clovertooth Hall - Also refered to as Town Hall. this is the hub of all government offices.

To get there from TC: 2 blocks east, 1block south, Go hall

   Bondsman - This is who you come to settle any debts you have with the city. In order to do this just check wealth and see how much you owe then PAY <AMOUNT>, and tada your debt free , well cept if you your Cousin Oswald for that dice game you lost last week, that is a personal debt, and not the affairs of the Bondsman.

Also you can gain Employment here as a messenger, running notes to and from various places in Icemule. It gives you a chance to earn some easy Silver and a bit of learning, and to learn your way around Icemule better. Just "Ask Bondsman for Job" and see if he gives ya one, be persistence and ask over and over till he gives you one, you have to wait about 5 minute between jobs , but it is a easy bit of work and safer than hunting.

   Registrar - This is where you go to Register any unique or rare Items you find or purchase. It is a good Idea to do this as if you lose the item either by accident or theft there is a record of it's existence and can be found easy. Costs about 10 silver per item you register.

Town Registrar Information

Registration of an item should not be construed as an insurance policy of any type, nor is it proof of ownership. It simply establishes a detailed record of the item, and that it was at one time in the possession of the person who paid for the registration.

Unless the item is significantly altered, you should not need to register it again.

To register your item, simply REGISTER <item name>.

   Icemule Homesteader's Office - Place to go if you wish to purchase a permanent home in Icemule, but you have to be a Premium taxpayer and have been paying said tax for a minimum of 6 months. the cost of homes are not by any chance cheap, I have seem some go into the millions of silvers. So do not expect to have a home anytime in your youthful career of adventuring.

To get there from TC: 2 blocks east, 1block south, Go Hall, Go Monir Door

    Public Lockers - this is the locker available to anyone that has a locker in icemule, this is not where you would find your locker if you happen to belong to a House. to enter a locker, just find a curtain and go inside. there are a number of locker spaces, so there is almost no fear as to not be able to get to your locker at anytime.
